Itinerary
Day 1 : Welcome to God's own Country | Cochin To Munnar.
- Welcome to God’s own country. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, drive through the scenic network of roads leading to Munnar. This hill station in Kerala is marked by vast spans of lush green tea plantations, rivulets, colonial bungalows, gushing waterfalls and a pleasant weather. In transit, you visit spice plantations, Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Check-in at the hotel and relax for a little while. End your day with a sound sleep at the hotel.
Day 2 : Sightseeing In Munnar | Spotting Nilgiri Tahr.
- After a delectable morning breakfast, leave the hotel by 9 AM to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar.
- Visit Photo point, Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Echo Point, Kundala lake and Sevenmallay tea estate/Tata Tea Museum.
- Later in the afternoon, Visit the largest national park of Kerala - Eravikulam National Park, Where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved and which also the prime attraction of Munnar to have a soft trekking.
- Enjoy your drive back to the hotel. A comfortable overnight stay at the hotel marks an end to another pleasant day.
Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady | Visit to Periyar National Park & Traditional show.
- Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Thekkady.
- On the way, experience the wildlife of Kerala by visiting the Periyar National Park (Due to limited daily availability, we recommend booking a boating safari on Periyar Lake in advance through the Periyar Tiger Reserve boating website to secure your spot for your desired date).
- Also, enjoy elephant riding in the Elephant Junction at your own cost.
- If time permits in the evening, Visit Kadathanadan Kalaari Centre - A popular cultural centre famous for performing Kalaripayattu martial arts and representing Kerala's unique culture (There is a 1 hour show in the evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM).
- Later, get transferred to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Thekkady to Alleppey | Exploring Backwaters Capital.
- 9 AM After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, a charming village on the Vembanad Lake.
- Arriving in Alleppey, check-in into a houseboat and get settle down. (Check-in time till 12 PM only strictly)
- Enjoy a delicious traditional Kerala lunch, served on board as you cruise through the serene lakes, palm-fringed canals, paddy fields, and small villages along the waterways.
- While on a houseboat, you can enjoy activities such as bird watching, fishing (if allowed), and simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay at the houseboat marks the end of the fourth day.
Day 5 : Alleppey to Varkala | Munroe Island, Unique Beach, Cliff.
- 8:30 AM after Breakfast, Embark on a scenic drive to Varkala, one of India's most beautiful beach towns.
- Explore Munroe Island's backwaters by kayak or canoe (own expense) en route. Check in to your charming seaside accommodation amidst coconut trees.
- Discover Varkala's unique cliff beach and enjoy a stunning sunset from the cliff's edge, Cafe Hopping, followed by dinner at one of the cliffside restaurants.
Day 5 : Varkala to Kovalam | Visit to Jatayu Earth Centre & Kovalam Beaches.
- After breakfast and a 9 AM check-out, journey to the impressive Jatayu Earth Center. A ropeway ride (own expense) takes you to the top, home to the iconic Jatayu sculpture and park.
- By 1 PM, you'll arrive in Kovalam, a coastal paradise. Explore its three beaches – Lighthouse, Hawah, and Samudra – and enjoy the evening with watersports, sunset views, or relaxing Ayurvedic treatments.
Day 7 : Kovalam to Trivandrum (with Padmanabha Temple)/Cochin & Goodbyes.
- After breakfast and hotel check-out, travel to Trivandrum. Visit the sacred Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of India's 108 Divya Desams. Time permitting, explore local Trivandrum (Napier Museum, Zoo). Transfer to Kochi/Trivandrum airport/railway station/bus stand for your journey home, filled with memories.

- Travloger may alter the itinerary due to factors beyond control, such as natural disasters, weather conditions, or road closures.
- Please provide your flight details to the operator before your travel date.
- Heavy rainfall is common from June to September, leading to potential itinerary changes. If roads are blocked due to landslides or other calamities, alternative sightseeing will be arranged. Customers must bear the cost of alternative accommodations as per the hotels' cancellation policies.
- All 3 Meals are included on the houseboat.
- If any sightseeing cannot be completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control, Travloger is not liable for refunds or discounts.

- Rescheduling within 7 days after booking until 15 days before travel incurs a 30.0% rescheduling fee.
- Rescheduling 0 to 15 days before travel incurs a 100.0% cancellation fee.
- No rescheduling or modifications allowed for bookings made within 15 days of travel.
