How Travloger collects, uses and protects your personal information - in plain language.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Destiny Travloger LLP ("Travloger", "we", "us", "our") values the trust you place in us when you choose to travel with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information when you use travloger.in, our booking channels (including WhatsApp, telephone and email), or otherwise interact with us.
This policy applies to customers and travellers who book or take part in any trip organised by Travloger; visitors who browse our website or interact with our enquiry forms and channels; prospective customers who share their details during an enquiry, even if no booking is made; and anyone whose information reaches us in connection with a trip — including guardians providing information for minors, or people named as emergency contacts.
It should be read with our Terms & Conditions, which govern bookings themselves. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and consent to the practices described in it. You can reach us about anything here at hello@travloger.in.
Information you give us. We collect your travel information when you voluntarily provide it — through the enquiry and contact forms on our website, over WhatsApp, by phone or email, or through our sales team. Depending on what you are planning, this may include your name, phone number, email address, city, travel dates, destination, group size and travel preferences, and anything you tell us in your message.
Booking information. When you book a trip we record the traveller details needed to run it: names and contact details, the trip, dates and party details, and — where you give us details of co-travellers — their names and basic information too. You confirm you are entitled to share a co-traveller's details and that they are aware. We may also ask, before departure, for the name and phone number of an emergency contact.
Documents for international trips. An overseas package attracts statutory requirements: we collect a PAN for each traveller, and identity documents — typically a passport — which you upload yourself. Uploaded documents are held in secure cloud storage located in India and used only for the booking they belong to.
Information collected automatically. When you browse our website we automatically collect certain technical information — such as the pages you visit, how you found us, your device and browser type, screen size and approximate location — to understand how the site is used, measure our campaigns and improve your experience. We do not record what you type into a form as part of this browsing data. We do not purchase data from third-party brokers.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, keep you signed in, analyse traffic and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that let us recognise your browser over time.
You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit some features, such as staying signed in. By continuing to use our website without disabling cookies, you consent to their use as described here.
Your personal information is used primarily to plan and run your trip. In practice that means we use it to:
We may aggregate and anonymise information to analyse trends and improve our offerings; such data does not identify you individually. We do not sell your personal data.
With your consent, we may send you trip recommendations, offers and updates over WhatsApp, SMS or email. You may opt out of marketing at any time — reply asking to be removed, or write to hello@travloger.in, and we will mark your record accordingly.
Messages about a booking you have made — confirmations, payment receipts, departure details, on-trip updates — are service communications, not marketing, and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences.
To deliver your trip end-to-end, your information may be shared with the partners who run parts of it — hotels and homestays, transport operators, guides, activity operators and permit authorities. Each receives only the traveller details it needs to provide its part of your trip, and nothing beyond that.
We also share limited information with the service providers our business runs on: our payment gateway (to process your payment), our messaging provider (to send your sign-in code and booking messages), and the hosting and technology providers our website and systems run on — under arrangements that limit them to acting on our instructions. Our advertising and analytics partners receive the measurement information described in the cookies section, with your contact details protected by one-way hashing wherever the platform permits.
We may disclose personal information where the law requires it, pursuant to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Travloger, our customers or others.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs and banking passwords never reach our systems. All payments are processed by a regulated payment gateway over encrypted connections, and we receive back only what is needed to reconcile your payment — reference numbers, the method used, and for a card, only the network and last four digits.
We will never ask you for a one-time code, a card CVV, a PIN or a banking password, and no employee is authorised to take payment into a personal account. If anyone claiming to be Travloger asks for these, it is not us — please tell us at once at hello@travloger.in.
Your information is stored securely in cloud systems located in India and managed by our team. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it for their work. Traffic to our website and systems is encrypted in transit, and sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.
We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for — and longer where the law requires it, such as booking and payment records kept for tax and accounting. If you would like information we hold about you removed sooner, write to us under the rights section below.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is entirely immune from threats. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will investigate promptly and notify affected individuals and authorities as applicable law requires.
You have the right to review, correct or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Write to hello@travloger.in and we will act on your request after reasonable verification of your identity.
In your account you can update your name and email address; everything else goes through the address above, where our team handles it personally. Deletion cannot extend to records we are required by law to keep, such as those behind a completed booking's invoices.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of marketing as described above.
Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 except as part of a booking. Where a minor travels on a trip, their details are provided to us by a parent or guardian as part of that booking and are used strictly for running the trip. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information without your consent, contact us and we will take corrective measures.
During our group trips, photographs and videos may be captured by Travloger's team or authorised representatives. By participating in a trip, you consent to the reasonable use of such media by Travloger for marketing, website display and social media. If you would rather your identifiable images not be used, tell us in writing before your trip begins — or at any time afterwards — and we will honour it.
Our website and messages may contain links to sites we do not operate — a hotel's own page, a payment gateway, a social platform. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the policy of any site you provide personal information to.
When you engage with us on social media platforms, your interactions are also governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy. We will never ask for sensitive information over social media — for anything sensitive, use our primary channels: phone or hello@travloger.in.
Travloger complies with applicable Indian data protection and privacy law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with the rules made under them. By engaging our services, you consent to your information being processed in accordance with these frameworks and this policy.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, technology or legal requirements. Updates take effect when posted on this page, with the date at the head of the page revised accordingly. Where a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold, we will make that clear rather than rely on the date alone. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
In the case of any discrepancy or query that you have regarding our privacy policy, please follow up with our grievance officer on the information given below. Include your booking reference, if you have one, and what you would like done — you will receive a reply within 30 days of receipt.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us by email at hello@travloger.in or by phone at +91 62813 92007.
