Bali works best when you accept that it is several holidays on one island and pick two. Ubud is the inland one: rice terraces at Tegallalang, the monkey forest, craft villages and a yoga-and-café culture that has grown up around them. It is green, humid and walkable, and it is where most people slow down. The south is the beach half — Seminyak and Kuta for surf, sunsets and a great deal of company, Nusa Dua for calmer water and resorts. Uluwatu sits on the cliffs at the southern tip, where the temple hangs over the sea and the Kecak dance is performed at sunset. Kintamani gives you the volcano: Batur across its caldera, best at sunrise, with hot springs below. Then there are the islands off the coast, Nusa Penida chief among them, where Kelingking's cliff is the photograph everyone has seen and the boat crossing is rougher than they expect. Every Bali trip on this page can start from any Indian city. The city pages say how long the flight is from there and whether there is a non-stop. Package prices are for the land part of the trip; a planner quotes the flight separately on request, so you choose the airline and the dates.
Five days covers Ubud, the Kintamani rim, Uluwatu at sunset and one beach base; six or seven days adds Nusa Penida and the water sports at Tanjung Benoa; eight days lets you split the stay between Ubud and the coast without repacking every night.

That is a land package: the hotels, airport transfers, the sightseeing and activities listed on each trip page, and a planner on WhatsApp through the trip. Flights from India are not included; they are quoted separately so you pick the airline and dates. Visa and entry fees are paid separately unless the trip page lists them, and the planner helps with the paperwork.

Tanjung Benoa is the water-sports beach: parasailing, jet ski, the banana boat and a sea walk, usually as one morning, with a sunset dinner cruise from Benoa harbour on another evening.

Singapore is two and a half hours from Bali, so a week splits into three days of Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay and Universal Studios and four days of Bali.

Visa: As of September 2026, Indian passport holders get a visa on arrival in Bali (IDR 500,000, about ₹2,700), or can buy the same visa online at evisa.imigrasi.go.id up to 14 days before flying to skip the queue. It allows 30 days and can be extended once at an immigration office in Bali. Two more steps are required: the free All Indonesia arrival card within 3 days before landing, and Bali's IDR 150,000 tourist levy. The visa fee and the levy are not part of the package price. Your passport needs six months of validity left.
Flights: Bengaluru has a daily non-stop to Denpasar of about seven hours, and Delhi has non-stops of about eight hours. From Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai most itineraries connect once through Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Bangkok, 8 to 12 hours including the stop.
Best time: April to October is the dry season and the easiest time to travel; July, August and the Christmas fortnight are the busiest and dearest. The wet months (November to March) are warm and cheaper, with sunny spells between heavy downpours, wettest from December to February, when fast boats to Nusa Penida can be cancelled in rough seas. Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence (expected on 9 March 2027), closes the airport and keeps everyone indoors for 24 hours.
Money: Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Cards work in hotels and larger restaurants; carry some cash for warungs, drivers and temple entries. UPI does not work in Bali yet (as of September 2026; a UPI link with Indonesia's QRIS codes is planned).
