How much is a 2 days 1 night Dandeli package from Bangalore?
₹5,000 per person. That covers the overnight travel from Bengaluru and back, one night at a riverside camp on sharing, breakfast and dinner, and a Travloger trip captain with the group. Rafting, the safari and the other river activities are booked at the camp and paid there, because they depend on the water level on the day.
How long does it take to reach Dandeli from Bangalore?
About 470 km and eight to nine hours through Hubballi, which is why the trip travels overnight on Friday and you wake up at the river. The nearest stations are Alnavar and Londa; Hubballi airport is 75 km away.
Is the rafting safe, and what if the river is low?
The Kali run is grade II and III — wet and lively rather than frightening — with a guide in every raft and life jackets throughout. The level depends on the dam release, so on a low day the rafting is replaced with kayaking and the coracle rather than cancelled, and you are told before it happens.
Can I join this trip alone?
Yes. The fixed-date departures are mixed groups with a trip captain, and about half of every batch travels solo. Camp accommodation is shared by gender.
What should I carry for Dandeli?
Clothes you do not mind soaking and a full change, a towel, closed shoes with grip for the rocks, a dry bag or ziplock for a phone, mosquito repellent for the camp, and a light jacket — the river valley is cool at night even in summer.

How the booking works
Pick a date, pay the advance shown on that date and your seat is held. The balance is due before departure. Entry tickets and activity charges are paid on the ground.
Rooms and who you travel with
Accommodation is on a sharing basis, allocated same-gender. Batches run solo-heavy, so travelling alone is normal rather than awkward, couples and groups of friends book the same trips.
Route changes
Hill and monsoon routes change. If a stop is unsafe or closed we substitute it rather than cancel the day, and you are told before it happens. Costs arising from a weather-driven change are not included.
