UAE questions, answered

Which Indian city do I fly from?
Any of them. Dubai is one of the best connected airports from India, with direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad and more, several a day. International airfare is not part of this price, so you can book the routing that suits you and we will match the plan to your arrival time.
Is this a group departure or a private trip?
This is a private trip. Your own dates, your own pace and only your own group, with private airport transfers. Nothing is shared with strangers and the day plan can be reshaped around you.
Do Indian passport holders need a visa for the UAE?
Yes, and it is straightforward. Indian nationals apply for a UAE tourist visa before travel, usually issued electronically within a few working days, and you need a passport valid for at least six months. Holders of a valid US visa or green card can get a visa on arrival instead. The visa fee is not included in this price, and we tell you exactly what your application needs.
What is the best time to visit Dubai?
November to March is the comfortable season, with daytime temperatures around 24 to 30 degrees and every outdoor attraction pleasant. Summer from June to September regularly passes 40 degrees, so those months suit indoor plans, and prices drop sharply.
What is the desert safari actually like?
A four wheel drive collects you in the afternoon for dune bashing, then a desert camp with a barbecue dinner and entertainment before an evening drop back. The dune drive is bumpy, so it is not advised in pregnancy or with back, neck or heart problems, and a quieter version without the bashing can be arranged.
Are the parks and attractions suitable for young children?
Yes. The waterparks and theme parks have height limits on the bigger rides but plenty for small children alongside, and the aquarium and zoo suit any age. Tell us your children's ages and we will pick the parks that actually work for them rather than the ones that just sound famous.
