How much does a one day Mysore trip from Bangalore cost?
From ₹1,499 per person, which covers the AC vehicle for the whole day, tolls, parking and the driver allowance. Monument entry at the palace, Srirangapatna and Brindavan Gardens is paid on the spot, and so is lunch.
What time does the Mysore day trip leave Bangalore?
Around 6 am. Mysuru is 145 km on the ten-lane expressway, about three hours, and an early start is what makes the difference between seeing four places and seeing two. You are back in Bengaluru late the same night, after the Brindavan fountain show.
Can you really cover Mysore in one day?
You can cover the headline four: Srirangapatna on the way in, the palace, Chamundi hill and Brindavan Gardens for the fountain. What a day cannot hold is Somnathpur, the zoo or a slow morning in Devaraja market — those are the reason to take two days.
Is the palace illuminated on the day I go?
The 97,000-bulb illumination runs 7 to 7.45 pm on Sundays, public holidays and right through Dasara. On any other day the palace closes at 5.30 pm and the evening belongs to Brindavan Gardens instead.
Is this a group departure or a private car?
It runs as a fixed-date group departure on a shared AC vehicle. The same day can be run privately for your own group on any date — tell us how many of you there are and we quote the car.

How the booking works
Pick a date, pay the advance shown on that date and your seat is held. The balance is due before departure. The fare shown includes 5% GST and monument entry fees.
Rooms and who you travel with
Accommodation is on a sharing basis, allocated same-gender. Batches run solo-heavy, so travelling alone is normal rather than awkward, couples and groups of friends book the same trips.
Route changes
Hill and monsoon routes change. If a stop is unsafe or closed we substitute it rather than cancel the day, and you are told before it happens. Costs arising from a weather-driven change are not included.
