1Day 1 - Trip begins at Vizag - Vizag to Bhubaneswar | Srikakulam Temples & Chilika.
  • Depart Vizag early (around 5 AM) and drive north along the coast.
  • Visit the rare Kurma-avatar temple at Srikurmam and the Sun Temple at Arasavilli in Srikakulam.
  • Enjoy a boat ride on Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish lagoon (boating payable directly).
  • Continue to Bhubaneswar and check in.
  • Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
2Day 2 - Puri & Konark.
  • After a relaxed start, drive to Puri for darshan at the Jagannath Temple.
  • Spend time at the golden Puri Beach on the Bay of Bengal.
  • Visit the 13th-century Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage stone chariot.
  • Return to Bhubaneswar for the night.
  • Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
3Day 3 - Trip ends at Vizag - Bhubaneswar Sightseeing & Return to Vizag.
  • After check-out, visit the great Lingaraja Temple, a masterpiece of Kalinga architecture.

Puri questions, answered

When is the best time for this Odisha coast trip?
October to March is ideal, pleasant, dry weather for the temples and beaches of Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar. The Rath Yatra at Puri (June/July) is spectacular but extremely crowded, and the summer months are hot and humid on the coast.
Anything to know about the Puri Jagannath and Konark temples?
The Puri Jagannath Temple is open only to Hindus, and phones, cameras and leather items are not allowed inside, cloakrooms are available at the gate. Darshan queues can be long on weekends and festivals, when a special-entry ticket helps. Konark Sun Temple is a monument (open to all) with a separate entry ticket, payable directly.
Are meals included?
No, these packages are on a room-only basis, so meals are not included. This keeps the price flexible and lets you eat where you like; Araku, Vizag and Lambasingi all have good local restaurants and coffee stops. We can add breakfast or a meal plan on request.
What should we pack?
Warm layers (a jacket, cap and gloves) for the Lambasingi and Vanjangi sunrises, comfortable walking shoes for the caves and viewpoints, and beachwear for Vizag. A light raincoat is handy in the monsoon. Sunrise starts are early, so a small torch and a power bank are useful.
What kind of stays are included?
You choose the category, Standard or Deluxe. In Vizag these are city hotels; in Araku, Vanjangi and Lambasingi they are the best available resorts, cottages or camp-stays, which are simpler by nature of the hill locations. Rooms are on twin-sharing; if a primary property is sold out we provide an equivalent alternate at no extra cost.
