1Day 1 - Trip begins at Delhi - Delhi to Haridwar, temples and the river aarti
- Meet your private cab in Delhi and settle in for a road journey of roughly four hours to Haridwar.
- Check into your Haridwar hotel and take some time to rest after the drive.
- Visit the Vaishno Devi shrine, Daksheshwar Mahadev temple and the hilltop Mansa Devi temple.
- Head to the riverbank in the evening for the lamp lit Ganga aarti, then return to the hotel for the night.
2Day 2 - On to Rishikesh, bridges, ashrams and the rapids
- Check out after breakfast and drive the short distance to Rishikesh.
- Walk across Ram Jhula, the suspension bridge strung over the Ganga.
- Stop at the old Beatles ashram and its painted meditation huts, and pay your respects at Neelkanth temple.
- Carry on to the Shivpuri stretch, where white water rafting can be added if you want a splash of adventure.
- Return to your Rishikesh hotel for the night.
3Day 3 - The mountain drive up to Auli
- Check out and begin the long, scenic climb from the river valley into the high Garhwal hills.
- Watch the landscape shift into oak and pine forest as you approach Auli, set at roughly 2,800 metres.
- Check into your Auli stay and give yourself the afternoon to slow down and take in the peaks.
- Evening free at the property, with dinner and an overnight stay.
4Day 4 - Auli by cable car and the high artificial lake
- Ride the Auli ropeway, one of Asia's longest cable car lines, for wide views of the Himalayan wall and the valley below.
- Visit the man made lake built high on the slope to feed snow guns and keep the ski runs working through the season.
- Between roughly December and March the slopes are under snow and the mood is a ski resort; from late spring the same slopes are open green meadow with wildflowers, so pick your season deliberately.
- Return to your stay in Auli for a second night.
5Day 5 - Auli to Mussoorie, then an easy evening
- Catch the sunrise over the peaks before checking out.
- Settle into your private cab for the long descent and drive across to Mussoorie, with mountain views for company.
- Check into your Mussoorie hotel and keep the rest of the day light.
- Optional: stroll Mall Road for its shops and cafes, or take a boat out on Mussoorie lake.
6Day 6 - Mussoorie sightseeing day
- Start at Kempty Falls, the hill station's best known cascade and a favourite cooling stop.
- Take the short cable car up to Gun Hill for a sweep of the Himalayan skyline.
- Continue to Lal Tibba, the highest lookout in town, for the clearest peak views of the day.
- Finish with a gentle walk through Company Garden and along Camel's Back Road before returning to the hotel.
7Day 7 - Trip ends at Delhi - Mussoorie back to Delhi and farewell
- Enjoy a last mountain morning and breakfast, then check out.
- Drive back down to Delhi, a road journey of roughly six and a half hours.
- Your trip ends at the agreed drop point in Delhi.
