Jaipur questions, answered

Not travelling from Jaipur? Can I still join?
Yes. The plan starts at Jaipur and you can reach it from any Indian city. Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur all have airports with daily flights and good train links, and Delhi is the usual gateway from abroad. Your travel up to the start point is not part of the price, and we will help you pick an arrival time that fits day one.
Is this a group departure or a private trip?
This is a private trip. Your own car and driver, your own dates and your own pace, with only your group on board. Nothing is shared with strangers and the route can be reshaped around you.
Are monument entry tickets included?
No. Fort and palace entry fees are paid on the spot and are not part of the package price, which is the normal arrangement across Rajasthan. We tell you the current rates for every monument on your route in advance so there are no surprises at the gate.
When is the best time for this trip?
October to March is the comfortable window, with cool days and cold desert nights, so pack layers. April to June is very hot in the desert and best avoided for long sightseeing days, while July to September brings light rain and the greenest landscapes.
What is the desert camp night like?
You stay in a tented camp out near the dunes with attached bathrooms and dinner under the open sky, usually with a camel or jeep ride at sunset and a folk music evening. Nights get genuinely cold from November to February, so carry warm clothes.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Yes. Cities can be added or dropped, nights rebalanced and stays upgraded to a heritage haveli or palace hotel. Send an enquiry with your dates and group size and we will build the exact plan and price for you.
