Day-wise plan
Every day runs on a private cab - the order and pace are yours to change.
1Day 1 - Surat to Nashik | Godavari & Trimbakeshwar.
- Depart Surat around 6 AM and drive to the holy city of Nashik.
- Visit the white-marble Muktidham Temple and the sacred Ram Kund on the Godavari.
- See the Sita Gufaa caves and Trimbakeshwar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva.
- Check in and rest for the evening.
- Overnight stay in Nashik.
2Day 2 - Shirdi Darshan, then Transfer to Aurangabad.
- After breakfast and check-out, take darshan at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple (Gondeshwar Temple at Sinnar en route, optional).
- Visit the famous Shani Shingnapur shrine.
- Continue the drive to Aurangabad and check in.
- Rest for the evening.
- Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
3Day 3 - Ellora Caves, Grishneshwar & Daulatabad.
- After breakfast, visit the hilltop Daulatabad Fort.
- Explore the UNESCO-listed Ellora Caves and the monolithic Kailasa temple (closed on Tuesdays).
- Take darshan at the Grishneshwar Temple, the twelfth Jyotirlinga of Shiva.
- Return to Aurangabad for the night.
- Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
4Day 4 - Aurangabad City Sightseeing.
- After breakfast, visit the Aurangabad Caves on the hillside above the city.
- See the Bibi Ka Maqbara, the “Taj of the Deccan”.
- Visit the Shivaji Maharaj Museum and the Siddharth Garden & Zoo.
- Evening free in Aurangabad.
- Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
5Day 5 - Ajanta Caves & Return to Surat.
- After breakfast and check-out, drive out to the UNESCO-listed Ajanta Caves.
- Explore the 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves and their 2,000-year-old murals (Ajanta is closed on Mondays).
- Begin the long drive back towards Surat, arriving by around 10 PM.
- This marks the end of your trip with Travloger.
