A 3 day Vizag trip, day by day
A private trip runs the same plan at your own pace; a group departure follows it to the minute.
- Day 1: RK Beach, the submarine and aircraft museums, Kailasagiri by ropeway for sunset.
- Day 2: the ghat road to Borra caves and Araku valley, the coffee museum, and back or an overnight in the valley.

Vizag trip cost and what the price covers
Vizag packages start at ₹7,299 per person: ₹7,299 for 3 days. That covers the stays, the local travel, the sightseeing and activities each trip page lists; the journey from your city is quoted with the trip so you can pick the train, bus or flight.
What moves the price is the room category, the season and the group size. Weekends, long weekends and the December fortnight cost more than a mid-week date, and a group of four to six brings the per-person price down because the car and the rooms are shared. Entry tickets and anything not named on the trip page stay out of the fare, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Vizag and Araku packages
Araku is three and a half hours up the ghat, or a morning on the Kirandul train through 58 tunnels, and the Borra caves sit on the way. Most Vizag trips include it.
3 trips on this page, from ₹7,299 per person: 3 Days Araku Vanjangi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,299); 3 Days Araku Lambasingi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,499); 3 Days Araku Vanjangi Lambasingi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,999).
Vizag with Vanjangi and Lambasingi packages
Vanjangi at sunrise and Lambasingi, the coldest place in Andhra, are the two early mornings that turn a beach trip into a hill one.
3 trips on this page, from ₹7,299 per person: 3 Days Araku Vanjangi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,299); 3 Days Araku Lambasingi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,499); 3 Days Araku Vanjangi Lambasingi Bliss (3D/2N, from ₹7,999).

Getting there
Vizag is about 620 km from Hyderabad. The overnight train is the way most people do it — services leave Secunderabad, Kacheguda and Lingampalli through the evening and reach Visakhapatnam Junction in the morning, about 12 hours, and IRCTC sells Vizag and Araku packages built around them. The fixed-date group trips travel the same way. By road it is 11 hours; the flight is 70 minutes.

Bangalore to Vizag is a 90-minute flight, or an overnight train of about 18 hours; by road it is close to 1,000 km.
