Day-wise plan
Every day runs on a private cab - the order and pace are yours to change.
1Day 1 - Trip begins at Cochin - Arrival & Drive
- Met at Cochin, you climb to Munnar with stops at the Cheeyappara and Valara falls, both directly on the ghat road.
- Check in and keep the evening free after the drive.
- Overnight in Munnar; hotel breakfast is included each morning.
2Day 2 - Munnar Sightseeing
- A full Munnar day with your private cab: Eravikulam National Park first, where the Nilgiri tahr graze near the path.
- Then Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, with the tea estates in between.
- Back to the hotel for a second night in the hills.
3Day 3 - Backwater Cruise
- Come down from Munnar to Alleppey after breakfast and board your houseboat around midday.
- Lunch is served aboard as you cast off into the Vembanad canals.
- Moor for the night among the paddy fields; all meals on the boat are included.
4Day 4 - Cliffs & Myth
- Leave Alleppey after the morning cruise and drive south to Varkala.
- Stop at the Jatayu Earth Centre on the way, then on to Varkala's Cliff Beach, where the red cliffs drop to the sea.
- Overnight at Varkala.
5Day 5 - Island & local gems
- Spend the morning kayaking the canals of Munroe Island, where the Ashtamudi lake and the Kallada river meet — the waterways are too narrow for anything bigger.
- Visit the black-sand beach and the flea market afterwards.
- Overnight at Varkala.
6Day 6 - Trip ends at Trivandrum - Temple & Departure
- Stop at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple on the way to Trivandrum. The dress code is strictly enforced and phones are not allowed inside.
- Continue to Trivandrum for your departure.
