Bali questions, answered

Which Indian city do I fly from?
Any of them. Bali is reached through Denpasar, with one-stop connections from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, usually via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok. International airfare is not part of this price, so you can book the routing that suits you and we will match the plan to your arrival time.
Is this a group departure or a private trip?
This is a private trip. Your own car and driver, your own dates and only your own group. Nothing is shared with strangers, and the day plan can be reshaped around you at any point.
Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Indonesia?
Indian nationals get a visa on arrival at Denpasar, paid for in cash or by card at the airport counter, valid for 30 days. You need a passport with at least six months left and a return or onward ticket. The visa fee itself is not included in this price. Rules do change, so we confirm the current position for your dates.
What is the best time to visit Bali?
April to October is the dry season and the most reliable window, with June to September the busiest. November to March is wetter, with short heavy showers rather than all-day rain, and it is noticeably cheaper and quieter. The island is warm all year at around 27 to 32 degrees.
Are the water sports suitable for non swimmers?
Yes. Banana boat, jet ski and parasailing at Tanjung Benoa all run with life jackets and an instructor, and no swimming ability is needed. Tell us in advance about pregnancy, heart conditions or recent surgery, because a few activities are not advised in those cases.
Is there a dress code at the temples?
Yes. Shoulders and knees must be covered and a sarong is worn at every temple. Sarongs are lent or hired at the entrance of the major ones, so there is nothing to carry. Visitors are also asked not to enter temple grounds during menstruation, which is a local custom worth knowing before you go.
