Flying to Bali from Delhi

Air India flies non-stop from Delhi to Denpasar in about 7 hours 30 minutes to 8 hours 30 minutes, with up to two departures a day (as of September 2026); one-stop routes through Singapore or Kuala Lumpur are often cheaper and add two to four hours.

Flights from Delhi leave from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). They are not part of the package price: the planner quotes them separately on request, so you choose the airline, the timing and the fare, and the trip starts from the airport transfer when you land.

How many days for Bali from Delhi

The non-stop from Delhi takes about 8 hours, so most of the first day goes on the journey; a 6-day plan or longer leaves 4 full days on the ground.

9 plans fit that, from ₹41,949 per person: 7 Days Bali Family Getaway (7D/6N, from ₹41,949); 7 Days Bali Water Sports Adventure (7D/6N, from ₹41,999); 7 Days Bali Kuta Ubud Escape (7D/6N, from ₹41,999); 7 Days Bali Luxury Couple Retreat (7D/6N, from ₹41,999).

When to go to Bali from Delhi

The holidays Delhi travels on, and what Bali is like in those weeks:

  • Holi (March): Bali in March is the end of the wet season, warm and cheaper (Nyepi, the Day of Silence, is expected on 9 March 2027).
  • Summer holidays (mid-May to June): Bali in June is the dry season, the easiest time to travel.
  • Diwali (October or November): Bali in November is the start of the wet season, warm and cheaper.
  • The winter break (late December to early January): Bali in December and January is the wet season, and the Christmas fortnight is one of the dearest; then the wet season at its wettest, when fast boats to Nusa Penida can be cancelled.

April to October is the dry season and the easiest time to travel; July, August and the Christmas fortnight are the busiest and dearest. The wet months (November to March) are warm and cheaper, with sunny spells between heavy downpours, wettest from December to February, when fast boats to Nusa Penida can be cancelled in rough seas. Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence (expected on 9 March 2027), closes the airport and keeps everyone indoors for 24 hours.

Bali trip cost from Delhi

Bali packages from Delhi start at ₹27,800 per person: ₹27,800 for 5 days and ₹41,949 for 7 days. That is a land package: the hotels, airport transfers, the sightseeing and activities listed on each trip page, and a planner on WhatsApp through the trip. Flights from Delhi are not included; they are quoted separately so you pick the airline and dates. Visa and entry fees are paid separately unless the trip page lists them. We apply for your Bali e-VOA for you before you fly.

Bali is the Indian honeymoon and friends-trip favourite for a reason: a simple e-VOA, private-pool villas at good value, and temples, beaches and volcano views within a couple of hours' drive of each other. The price moves with the hotel category, the month and the group size, so share those three and you get an exact quote rather than a starting figure.

Bali visa and money for travellers from Delhi

Visa: As of September 2026, Indian passport holders need Indonesia's visa on arrival for Bali (IDR 500,000, about ₹2,700), which can also be applied for online as an e-VOA at evisa.imigrasi.go.id up to 14 days before flying. We apply for your Bali e-VOA for you before you fly; the e-VOA fee is paid separately. You land with the visa already issued and skip the visa counter at the airport. The e-VOA allows 30 days and can be extended once at an immigration office in Bali. Two more steps are required: the free All Indonesia arrival card within 3 days before landing, and Bali's IDR 150,000 tourist levy, which is also paid separately. Your passport needs six months of validity left.

Money: Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Cards work in hotels and larger restaurants; carry some cash for warungs, drivers and temple entries. UPI does not work in Bali yet (as of September 2026; a UPI link with Indonesia's QRIS codes is planned).
