1Day 1 · Trip begins at Munnar - Towards Munnar + Athirapally Falls · Meals: ·
- Transfer from Cochin to Munnar (4.5 Hours).
- Pick-up: Cochin at 10 AM / Airport at 12 PM.
- Proceed to the majestic Athirapally Waterfalls (closes by 4 PM), often called the Niagara of India.
- Cascading from a height of 80 feet amidst dense Sholayar forests, this cinematic wonder has been featured in many Indian films.
- Continue the scenic drive to Munnar, crossing the historic Neriamangalam Bridge with stunning views of Periyar River.
- On the way, witness the cascading charm of Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls.
- Evening: Check into your Munnar hotel and unwind for a restful overnight stay.
2Day 2 · Kolukkumalai Sunrise + Munnar Local · Meals: ·
- Kolukkumalai Sunrise + Local Gems.
- 4:00 AM, Jeep safari (self-sponsored) to Kolukkumalai Peak for a breathtaking sunrise.
- Return to stay by 9:00 AM for breakfast.
- 10:30 AM, Head to Eravikulam National Park; enjoy the bus safari (self-sponsored, 12-2 PM) to spot Nilgiri Tahr and rolling hills.
- Post Noon, Visit Photo Point, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam (jet-ski optional), and Kundala Lake.
- Evening, Explore local tea shops for authentic flavors.
- Overnight Stay in Munnar, Relax after a day of adventure and scenic beauty.
- Note: All major attractions in Munnar close by 4 PM.
3Day 3 · Munnar to Thekkady · Meals: ·
- Visit to Periyar National Park & Traditional Show.
- 8:30 AM After breakfast, Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Thekkady.
- Experience Wildlife at Periyar National Park, famous for it’s boat cruise (Click Here to BOOK) on Periyar Lake which provides opportunity to spot wildlife.
- Later, enjoy elephant riding in the Elephant Junction at your own cost.
- Visit Kadathanadan Kalaari Centre - A cultural centre for performing Kathakali & Kalaripayattu martial arts, representing Kerala's unique culture. (2 hour show in the evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM).
- Later, get transferred to your hotel and overnight stay.
4Day 4 · Thekkady to Alleppey. Houseboat Check-in · Meals: ·
- Cruise through the backwaters of Kerala.
- 8:30 AM After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, a charming village on the Vembanad Lake.
- Arriving in Alleppey, check-in into a houseboat and get settle down. (Check-in time till 1 PM only strictly) Enjoy a delicious traditional Kerala lunch, served on board as you cruise through the serene lakes, palm- fringed canals, paddy fields, and small villages along the waterways.
- While on a houseboat, you can enjoy activities such as bird watching, fishing (if allowed), and simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat marks the end of the fourth day.
5Day 5 · Trip ends at Cochin - Alleppey to Cochin · Meals: ·
- Bid Farewell to God’s Own Country.
- Begin your day with a beautiful sunrise, Breakfast and post check-out from the houseboat, you will get transferred to Kochi Airport/ Railway station/Bus stand.
- Optionally, as time allows, we cover Alleppey Beach, the lighthouse and local Cochin sightseeing.
- Landmarks include St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was first buried, the Dutch Seminary and the China Vela, with a stroll through Jew Street and its antique stores.
- With that it is time to wind up your expedition and now you will be all set to return home with a heart full of memories.
