2Day 2 - Rameswaram excursion, night halt at Thanjavur
- 8 AM drive to the island town of Rameswaram
- Sea dip point at Agniteertham followed by darshan at Ramanatha Swamy Temple
- Drive out to the ghost town and sandspit of Dhanushkodi
- Long evening transfer north; overnight in Thanjavur
3Day 3 - Trip ends at Chennai - Thanjavur sights, drive back to Chennai
- Check out after breakfast and start sightseeing
- The towering Brihadeeswarar Temple, a Chola-era UNESCO site
- Thanjavur Palace and its Art Gallery of bronzes
- Return drive to Chennai, arriving around 10 PM
