1Day 1 - Trip begins at Chennai - Reach Chennai, day free to settle in
- Pickup from Chennai airport, railway station or bus stand and transfer to the hotel for check in
- Rest of the day at leisure; on your own you can see Santhome Church, the Semmozhi Poonga botanical garden and the Dakshinachitra heritage museum

2Day 2 - Day trip for the Tirupati temples
- Private excursion from the hotel to Tirupati, starting around 11 am
- Darshan at Tirumala Temple of Lord Venkateswara, one of the most visited and richest shrines in the world
- Also cover Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple, Govindaraja Swamy Temple and Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple
- Drive back to the Chennai hotel for the night
3Day 3 - Kanchipuram en route, evening in Mahabalipuram
- Leave Chennai and stop at Kanchipuram to see Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple and Kumarakottam Temple
- Continue to Mahabalipuram and check in at a standard hotel
- Evening private tour covering the Shore Temple and the old Mahabalipuram fort area

4Day 4 - Tiruvannamalai darshan, on to Pondicherry
- Drive out via Tiruvannamalai and visit Arunachaleswarar Temple, a Shiva shrine counted among the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams
- Carry on to Pondicherry and check in at the hotel
- Free evening; Rock Beach, Raj Niwas and the French war memorial are easy self visits

5Day 5 - Pondicherry city round
- Private sightseeing starting around noon
- Sri Aurobindo Ashram, then the Pondicherry Museum with its Pallava and Chola era sculptures
- Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Manakula Vinayagar Temple

6Day 6 - Chidambaram stop, night in Thanjavur

8Day 8 - Trichy sights, drive to Madurai

9Day 9 - Madurai temples darshan

10Day 10 - Down to Kanyakumari
