1Day 1 - Trip begins at Madurai - Madurai pickup and drive to Rameswaram
- Pickup at Madurai and road transfer to Rameswaram, crossing the Pamban Bridge en route
- Check in at the hotel, then an afternoon of temple visits: Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham and Ramjharoka Temple
- Night in Rameswaram
2Day 2 - Dhanushkodi excursion from Rameswaram
- Post-breakfast trip out to Dhanushkodi at the island's tip
- Return and cover the remaining temples around Rameswaram
- Second night in Rameswaram
3Day 3 - Back to Madurai for Meenakshi darshan
- Morning drive from Rameswaram to Madurai
- Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Azhagar Temple and the Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal palace
- Night in Madurai
4Day 4 - Madurai to Trichy sightseeing
- Drive to Trichy after breakfast and check in at the hotel
- Afternoon tour covering Jambukeshwar Temple, the Srirangam temple complex and Rockfort Temple
- Dinner and night halt in Trichy
5Day 5 - Tanjore heritage stop, on to Kumbakonam
- Head to Tanjore after breakfast: Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjai Mamani Koil, the Vijayanagar fort, Tanjore Palace and its art gallery
- Continue to Kumbakonam and begin the Navagraha temple circuit
- Night in Kumbakonam
6Day 6 - Navagraha temples and Chidambaram en route to Pondicherry
- Complete the remaining Navagraha temples in the morning
- Stop at Chidambaram for the Nataraja Temple, where Shiva is worshipped as the cosmic dancer
- Drive on to Pondicherry for the night
7Day 7 - Pondicherry city and Auroville
- City tour after breakfast including Sri Aurobindo Ashram
- Visit the experimental township of Auroville, the City of Dawn designed by French architect Roger Anger
- Night in Pondicherry
8Day 8 - Mahabalipuram monuments, night in Kanchipuram
- Drive up the coast to Mahabalipuram: Tiger Cave, Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Krishna's Butter Ball and the lighthouse beach
- Continue to Kanchipuram and visit Kamakshi Amman, Varadharaja Perumal, Devarajaswami, Ekambaranatha and Vaikunda Perumal temples
- Night in Kanchipuram
9Day 9 - Chennai city round
- Transfer to Chennai and check in
- See Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, the museum and Marina Beach
- Night in Chennai
10Day 10 - Trip ends at Chennai - Departure from Chennai
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Drop at Chennai airport or railway station for the journey home
