  • Arrive at the designated boarding point in Delhi and board your comfortable Volvo bus for an overnight journey to Rishikesh.
  • Travel through the plains of North India as your spiritual Himalayan journey begins.
  • Reporting Time: 9:30 PM at ISBT Kashmiri Gate.
1Day 1 · Rishikesh to Yamunotri Region (7 Hours Drive) · Meals: ·
  • Arrive in Rishikesh early morning and transfer to your private vehicle, which will accompany you throughout the yatra.
  • Begin your scenic drive towards Yamunotri, passing through lush valleys, riverbanks, and mountain roads.
  • Upon reaching Janki Chatti, continue to your hotel in Barkot and unwind.

2Day 2 · Barkot to Yamunotri (2 Hours) & Darshan · Meals: ·
  • Start early for your trek (approx.
  • 5-6 km) to the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
  • Pilgrims can opt for pony or doli services as well.
  • Take a holy dip in the natural hot springs and offer prayers at the temple.
  • Return to Barkot by evening.

3Day 3 · Barkot to Uttarkashi (Drive via Gangotri Route - 6 Hours) · Meals: ·
  • After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi en route to Gangotri.

  • Arrive in Uttarkashi and check into your hotel.

May to October, within the temple opening dates. September and October are drier and clearer than the monsoon months.
How much trekking is involved?
Yamunotri is around 6 km each way and Kedarnath around 16 km from Gaurikund, both at altitude. Ponies and dolis are available at your own cost.
Are pony and doli charges included?
No. Pony and doli charges at Yamunotri and Kedarnath, the Sonprayag-Gaurikund jeep and helicopter services are all excluded.
Is this a luxury trip?
No. It is a budget-friendly backpacking experience built around covering the major locations rather than premium comfort. Travel days can be long because the itinerary covers a lot in a limited time.
Is this trip suitable for solo travellers?
Yes. Rooms are allocated same-gender on a sharing basis, so solo travellers pay no single supplement, and these batches run solo-heavy.
