  • Arrive at the designated boarding point in Delhi and board your comfortable Volvo bus for an overnight journey to Rishikesh.
  • Travel through the plains of North India as your spiritual Himalayan journey begins.
  • Reporting Time: 9:30 PM at ISBT Kashmiri Gate.
1Day 1 · Rishikesh to Sonprayag (7 Hours) · Meals: ·
  • Board your local transfer vehicle (Tempo Traveller / Bolero, depending on group size) and begin the scenic Himalayan journey towards Sonprayag.
  • Drive through the sacred confluences of the Garhwal region, witnessing the divine Prayags - Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag - where holy rivers merge amidst breathtaking landscapes.
  • Experience the spiritual significance of the Sangam of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, marking the origin of the Ganga.
  • Continue the drive along winding mountain roads and river valleys, reaching Sonprayag by evening.
  • Drive Duration: ~200 km | 8-9 hours Night Stay: Sonprayag
2Day 2 · Sonprayag to Kedarnath (Trek & Darshan) · Meals: ·
  • Drive in a local vehicle from Sonprayag to Gaurikund (5 km), the base for the Kedarnath trek. (Helicopter option available from Phata for selected travelers.
  • Begin the 19 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (6-8 hrs), following the scenic Mandakini River.
  • The trail is well-marked with access to food, water, and basic facilities throughout.
  • Reach by evening and proceed for darshan (subject to time).
  • Drive: 25 km | 2 - 3 hrs
  • Stay: Kedarpuri (Tent Dorm stay in Sleeping Bags)
3Day 3 · Kedarnath Temple To Gaurikund Trek And Drive To · Meals: ·
  • Rudraprayag/Sonprayag (5 Hours)
  • We will wake up before sunrise and see the Himalayas in golden color in the background of the temple.
  • Temple will be open around 5:00 Am in the morning you can visit the temple and offer your prayers
  • After having breakfast, we will start descending and reach Sonprayag
  • It will be a 16 Km trek with an altitude loss of 5,750 ft.
  • Trek Distance: 16 Km · 5 to 6 Hrs
  • During the trek drinking water, food & washrooms are available throughout.
  • The trail is easy and well-marked
  • There are multiple waterfalls along the trail where we can capture beautiful pictures
  • We will follow the river Mandakini through the trek.
  • At one point we will cross it on a bridge.
  • We will reach the Guarikund in the late afternoon.
  • From Sonprayag we will start our journey toward Rudraprayag
  • Drive: 90 KM · 4 to 5 Hrs
  • Stay: Rudraprayag/Sonprayag (Homestay Sharing)
  • Note: Mules will be available at particular points to carry luggage or people if you feel tired.
  • You can pay for them and take the services.
4Day 4 · Rudraprayag/Sonprayag to Joshimath / Pipalkoti (Drive 6 Hours) · Meals: ·
  • After breakfast, drive towards Joshimath or Pipalkoti.
  • Enjoy a relaxed evening amidst the mountains.
  • Night Stay: Joshimath / Pipalkoti (Hotel)
5Day 5 · Towards Badrinath (2 Hours) & Darshan | Mana Village · Meals: ·
  • Proceed to Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • After darshan, visit Mana Village, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.
  • Explore highlights like Vyas Gufa and the origin of the Saraswati River.
  • Return to Joshimath for overnight stay.
  • Night Stay: Joshimath (Hotel)
6Day 6 · Joshimath to Rishikesh (7 hours Drive) · Meals: ·
  • Begin your return journey towards Rishikesh.
  • Enjoy a long yet scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • By evening/night, board your onward journey to Delhi.

What is the best time for the Do Dham Yatra?
May to October, between the temple opening and closing dates, avoiding the peak monsoon weeks when the hill roads are most prone to landslides.
How hard is the Kedarnath trek?
It is roughly 16 km from Gaurikund at altitude. Ponies and dolis are available at your own cost, and the jeep from Sonprayag to Gaurikund is not included.
Are pony and doli charges included?
No. Pony and doli charges at Kedarnath, the Sonprayag-Gaurikund jeep and any helicopter service are all excluded.
