1Day 1 - Trip begins at Chandigarh - Arrival in Chandigarh
- Pick up from Chandigarh airport or railway station.
- Transfer to the booked hotel and check in.
- Day free at leisure.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Chandigarh.
2Day 2 - Chandigarh to Narkanda
- Drive of about 173 km, roughly 5 hours 20 minutes.
- Route runs on the Himalayan Expressway and passes the hill town of Chail.
- Lunch break en route.
- Reach Narkanda, an apple growing belt, and check in.
- Overnight stay in Narkanda.
3Day 3 - Narkanda to Chitkul
- Drive of about 176 km, roughly 6 hours.
- Follow the Sutlej to Karcham, then turn towards Chitkul along the Baspa river.
- Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the border.
- Option to eat at the roadside eatery known as the last dhaba of India.
- Overnight stay in a hotel or homestay in Chitkul.
4Day 4 - Chitkul to Nako
- Drive of about 148 km, roughly 4 hours 25 minutes.
- Travel on the Indo Tibet highway and cross Khab Bridge at the meeting point of the Spiti and Satluj rivers.
- Check in at Nako, then local sightseeing.
- Visit Nako Monastery, which has an old prayer wheel, and spend time by Nako Lake.
- Overnight stay in Nako.
5Day 5 - Nako to Kaza with stops en route
- Drive of about 111 km, roughly 3 hours 20 minutes.
- Cross Sumdo into Spiti Valley.
- Detour to Gue village to see the preserved monk at Gue Monastery.
- Visit Tabo Monastery.
- Drive through Pin Valley National Park.
- Reach Kaza and check in to a hotel or homestay for the night.
6Day 6 - Sightseeing around Kaza
- Full day sightseeing circuit with the driver.
- Visit Komik village.
- Visit the high altitude post office at Hikkim.
- Visit Langza village and the Lang temple.
- Visit Key Monastery and Kibber village.
- Visit Chicham Bridge.
- Return to Kaza for the night.
7Day 7 - Kaza to Kalpa via Dhankar
- Drive of about 208 km, roughly 5 hours 20 minutes.
- Detour to Dhankar Monastery, a fort monastery on the rocky spurs.
- Continue to Powari, then towards Reckong Peo and on to Kalpa.
- Overnight stay in a camp or homestay in Kalpa.
8Day 8 - Kalpa to Shimla
- Drive of about 216 km, roughly 6 hours.
- Road follows the Satluj and passes deodar forest.
- Check in to the hotel in Shimla.
- Rest of the day free.
9Day 9 - Trip ends at Chandigarh - Shimla to Chandigarh and departure
- Drive of about 120 km, roughly 4 hours 30 minutes.
- Reach Chandigarh in the evening.
- Tour ends.
