1Day 1 - Trip begins at Delhi - Delhi to Shimla by night coach
- Reach the boarding point in Delhi.
- Overnight AC Volvo coach to Shimla, about 241 km and roughly 7 hours.
2Day 2 - Shimla to Chitkul
- Meet the representative in Shimla for the trip briefing.
- Drive about 236 km, roughly 8 hours, through Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr.
- Follow the Sutlej to Karcham, then the Baspa river to Chitkul.
- Meal stop at the roadside eatery known as Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba.
- Overnight at a hotel or homestay in Chitkul.
3Day 3 - Chitkul to Nako
- Drive about 148 km, roughly 4 and a half hours, on the Indo Tibet highway.
- Cross Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet.
- Visit Nako Monastery, including its collection of Buddhist scriptures.
- Free time by Nako Lake at sunset.
- Overnight in Nako.
4Day 4 - Nako to Kaza via Gue and Tabo
- Drive about 111 km, roughly 3 and a half hours.
- Cross Sumdo into Spiti Valley.
- Detour about 3 km past Sumdo to Gue Monastery and its preserved monk.
- Visit Tabo Monastery.
- Drive into Pin Valley National Park.
- Overnight at a hotel or homestay in Kaza.
5Day 5 - Kaza area sightseeing
- Visit Komik village.
- Visit Hikkim and its high altitude post office.
- Visit Langza and the Lang Temple.
- Visit Key Monastery.
- Visit Kibber village.
- Visit Chicham Bridge.
- Return to Kaza for the night.
6Day 6 - Kaza to Kalpa via Dhankar
- Drive about 208 km, roughly 5 and a half hours.
- Detour to Dhankar and its fort monastery.
- Optional climb to Dhankar Lake if time allows.
- Turn at Powari towards Reckong Peo and on to Kalpa.
- Overnight at a camp or homestay in Kalpa.
7Day 7 - Trip ends at Delhi - Kalpa to Shimla and coach to Delhi
- Drive about 216 km, roughly 6 hours, along the Sutlej through deodar forest.
- Drop at Shimla bus stand.
- Coach to Delhi, about 345 km and roughly 7 hours.
