1Day 1 - Trip begins at Haridwar - Arrive Haridwar and drive up to Nainital
- Meet your private cab at Haridwar station or airport and drive roughly 235 km to Nainital, about 4 to 5 hours.
- Check in, settle down and take an easy walk with the Naini peaks rising around you.
- Dinner at the hotel and an early night in the cool hill air.
2Day 2 - The lakes around Nainital
- After breakfast, head out to Sattal, Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal, each with its own mood.
- Sattal is quiet and good for birdlife, Bhimtal offers boating and kayaking, and Naukuchiatal is lovely at sunset.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and a second night in Nainital.
- Note: a few viewpoints only allow local union taxis, and that small fare is paid on the spot.
3Day 3 - Nainital to Jim Corbett
- Breakfast, check out and a short drive of about 66 km to Corbett, roughly 2 hours.
- Check in, freshen up and visit the Corbett Museum for the story of the man the park is named after.
- Stop at Garjia Temple on its rock in the river, then see Corbett Waterfall before dinner.
4Day 4 - Jeep safari and local Corbett
- Early start for a jeep safari through the forest, with a chance of tiger, elephant and deer sightings.
- The park holds several hundred bird species alongside its bigger residents, so keep binoculars handy.
- Rest of the day for local corners of Corbett, then dinner and a second night here.
- Note: zones open at different times of year and safari permits are booked online in advance.
5Day 5 - Corbett to Haridwar and the evening aarti
- Breakfast, then a drive of about 110 km to Haridwar, roughly 3 hours.
- Check in, rest a while, then visit Daksh Prajapati Temple, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi.
- In the evening join the crowd at Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga aarti, lamps and chanting on the river.
6Day 6 - Rishikesh on the way to Mussoorie
- Breakfast and check out, then drive towards Rishikesh with a stop at Bharat Mata Mandir.
- See the twin suspension bridges of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula over the Ganga.
- Carry on to Mussoorie, about 96 km and 3 hours in all, and check in.
- Evening free for a wander down Mall Road before dinner.
7Day 7 - Mussoorie sightseeing
- Start with Kempty Falls, then Company Garden and the Sisters Bazaar side of town.
- Ride up Gun Hill for a wide view across the valley and the ranges behind it.
- Walk the quiet loop of Camels Back Road and stop at the old Christ Church.
- Back to the hotel for dinner and your last hill night.
8Day 8 - Trip ends at Dehradun - Mussoorie to Dehradun and departure
- Breakfast, then check out and drive down to Dehradun, about 35 km.
- Drop at Dehradun airport or station for your onward journey.
