Day-wise plan
Meals and stay listed on every day · pace built for a group.
1Day 1 · Arrival in Mysore and on to the Isha Yoga Center.
- Morning arrival in Mysore, around 9:30 AM.
- A quick freshen up on the train or at the breakfast stop.
- Drive on towards Coimbatore, check in at the stay and freshen up.
- Head to the Isha Yoga Center for the Adiyogi darshan.
- Watch the Adiyogi Divya Darshanam light and sound show, which runs daily around 7:00 PM. We aim to arrive by 6:00 PM for a good spot.
- Return to the Coimbatore stay for the night.
2Day 2 · On to Ooty by way of Coonoor.
- Early 6:00 AM checkout and drive towards Coonoor, with breakfast en route.
- Visit the Dolphin’s Nose and Lamb’s Rock viewpoints.
- Carry on towards Ooty, stopping for lunch on the way.
- Around 2:00 PM, visit the Tea Factory and Tea Museum.
- By evening head up to Doddabetta Peak for the view over the Nilgiris.
- Time for local tea shopping, then on to the stay. Dinner en route or near the hotel, and overnight in Ooty.
3Day 3 · Ooty’s local gems, then goodbyes.
- Early 6:30 AM checkout and breakfast.
- Reach the Pine Forest by about 8:00 AM and take your time there.
- If the clock allows, an optional stop at Pykara Lake.
- Start the drive back to Mysore, roughly 4 hours.
- Drop for the train or bus, and goodbyes.
