1Day 1 - Trip begins at Guwahati - Guwahati arrival, drive to Shillong with city sights
- Picked up at Guwahati airport or station and driven about 130 km (roughly 3.5 hrs) up to Shillong, the Scotland of the East
- En route stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani), Meghalaya's largest man-made lake ringed by Khasi pines
- Visit Don Bosco Museum (shut Sundays and Christian holidays), Cathedral of Mary, the Golf Course and Ward's Lake
- Hotel check-in; evening free, with Police Bazaar nearby for shopping
- Overnight Shillong
2Day 2 - Cherrapunjee waterfalls and caves
- Post breakfast, day trip about 60 km each way to Cherrapunjee, record-holder for the heaviest monthly and yearly rainfall
- See Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls and Nohkalikai Falls
- Easy walk inside the limestone Mawsmai Cave and a stop at the Garden of Caves
- Return drive; overnight Shillong. Waterfalls run low in winter
3Day 3 - Mawlynnong village and Dawki river
- Drive about 100 km to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village of some 80 households, called God's Own Garden, with a close look at Khasi life
- Descend roughly 100 steps to a living root bridge woven from tree roots
- Continue to Dawki on the Umngot river, famed for glass-clear water and a single-span suspension bridge near the Bangladesh trade gateway; optional country-boat ride at extra cost
- Drive up to the Bangladesh border, then back to Shillong for the night. Packed lunch advisable
4Day 4 - Down to Guwahati, Kamakhya darshan
- Post breakfast, drive about 110 km from Shillong to Guwahati
- Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hill, the foremost tantric Shakti shrine with its beehive-shaped shikhara and the ten Mahavidya temples around it
- Stop at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra cultural complex
- Optional evening Brahmaputra river cruise at extra charge; check in and relax; overnight Guwahati
5Day 5 - Trip ends at Guwahati - Departure from Guwahati
- Breakfast and hotel checkout
- Transfer to Guwahati airport; trip ends
