1Day 1 · Trip begins at Hanoi - Arrival in Hanoi and free time
- Land at Hanoi airport and transfer privately by sedan to the hotel.
- Check in and keep the rest of the day open.
- Optional wandering around the old quarter and the lake temples at your own pace.
- Overnight in Hanoi.
2Day 2 · Day trip to Ninh Binh
- Drive out to Hoa Lu, the old capital in Ninh Binh province.
- See the ancient temples built for the Dinh and Le dynasties.
- Take a rowing boat through Tam Coc, past limestone pillars, rice fields and river caves.
- Return to Hanoi for the night. Breakfast included.
3Day 3 · To Halong Bay and a night afloat
- Check out and drive to the marina at Tuan Chau.
- Board a traditional sailing boat and settle into the cabin.
- Sail past floating fishing villages and limestone islets, including the Duck Islet rock and the waters towards Lan Ha Bay.
- Kayaking or a swim in the bay if conditions allow.
- Sleep on board. Breakfast included.
4Day 4 · Sunrise at sea, then fly south to Ho Chi Minh City
- Early sunrise on deck, followed by breakfast and a stretching session.
- Small boat ride to the Surprise Cave, the largest cavern in the bay.
- Disembark and drive back to Hanoi airport.
- Domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City (not included, we can suggest timings), then transfer to the hotel.
- Rest of the day free. Breakfast included.
5Day 5 · Cu Chi Tunnels and a half day in the city
- Morning drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the underground network used during the war.
- Half day city sightseeing in the afternoon.
- See the former presidential palace, the War Remnants Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon and the central post office.
- Back to the hotel for the night. Breakfast included.
6Day 6 · Mekong Delta day out
- Head south to the delta and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest multi-tiered temple in the region.
- Boat ride along the Mekong River and its side channels.
- Stop at My Tho and at Tortoise Islet.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh City for the night. Breakfast included.
7Day 7 · Trip ends at Ho Chi Minh City - Departure
- Breakfast and check out.
- Private sedan transfer to Ho Chi Minh City airport for the onward flight.
