Vietnam tour packages from Bengaluru

Bengaluru has non-stop flights to Hanoi on Vietnam Airlines, about 4 hours 35 minutes, and to Ho Chi Minh City on VietJet, about 4 hours 55 minutes, each a few days a week and overnight. Da Nang, and the days without a non-stop, need one connection, 7 hours or more.

Flights from Bengaluru leave from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). They are not part of the package price: the planner quotes them separately on request, so you choose the airline, the timing and the fare, and the trip starts from the airport transfer when you land.

The non-stop from Bengaluru flies only on some days of the week. Matched to those days, the 5-day plans work; on other days a connection adds several hours each way, and a 6-day plan or longer is the better fit.

• Sankranti (January): Vietnam in January is dry in Saigon and the Mekong, cool and misty in the north.
• Summer holidays (April and May): Vietnam in April and May is good in the north and dry in the centre and the south, one of the best months everywhere; then good in Hanoi and Halong Bay and dry in Da Nang and Hoi An; summer storms can cancel Halong cruises.
• Dasara holidays (late September to October): Vietnam in October is the best season for Hanoi and Halong Bay, and the rainy season in Hoi An, which floods most years.
• Deepavali and Kannada Rajyotsava (October to early November): Vietnam in November is the best season for Hanoi and Halong Bay, and the rainy season in Hoi An, which floods most years.
• Christmas and New Year: Vietnam in December is dry in Saigon and the Mekong, cool and misty in the north.

Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay are best from September to November and again in April to June; December to March is cool and misty in the north. Da Nang and Hoi An are dry and hot from February to August; September to December is their rainy season, with flooding in Hoi An most years in October and November. Saigon, the Mekong and Phu Quoc are driest from December to April. Storms can cancel Halong cruises in the summer months.

We apply for your Vietnam e-visa for you, at least three weeks before you fly.

Vietnam is the value trip of Southeast Asia: hotels, street food and transfers usually cost less than in Bali or Thailand, the e-visa is online, and the north, centre and south feel like three different countries. The price moves with the hotel category, the month and the group size, so share those three and you get an exact quote rather than a starting figure.

Visa: As of September 2026, Indian passport holders need a Vietnam e-visa, applied for online at evisa.gov.vn before travel (US$25 single entry, US$50 multiple entry). The law allows three working days, but the embassy advises five or more, so we apply for the e-visa for you at least three weeks before you fly. It is valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry. The visa fee is paid separately. Your passport needs six months of validity left.

Money: Vietnamese dong (VND). Cards work in hotels and city restaurants; carry cash for street food, markets and taxis outside the big cities. UPI does not work in Vietnam yet (as of September 2026; a UPI link was agreed in May 2026 but is not running).
