Dubai Honeymoon Guide from India: Hotels, Evenings and the Budget for Two

Travloger Team10 Sept 20264 min read

Dubai is the honeymoon Indian couples book when they want a real international trip without the long flight, the jet lag or the visa queue: four hours from the south, a visa in three days, and a city that does the evening better than anywhere else in reach. This guide is the honeymoon version of a Dubai trip: which hotel area to choose and why, the six evenings worth building the week around, the itinerary our couples' plans follow, and what it costs for two in 2026.

Six days, the honeymoon shape

The 6 Days Dubai Honeymoon Retreat at ₹57,750 per person is the plan most couples take, and it is built around the evenings:

  • Day 1: arrive, a Downtown hotel, the fountain show from a Souk al Bahar terrace at dinner.
  • Day 2: the Burj Khalifa at sunset, the slot worth paying for once, then the Dubai Mall lit up below and the fountain again from 124 floors up.
  • Day 3: old Dubai in the morning, the abra and the souks (gold is bought here, priced by weight), then the desert: a private safari with dinner on the dunes instead of the shared camp.
  • Day 4: move to a beach hotel on Jumeirah or the Palm for the last three nights; the afternoon at the pool, a Marina dhow dinner cruise.
  • Day 5: a free day: the Palm beach clubs, the Miracle Garden in season, or the Museum of the Future and a late lunch; sunset at the Pointe with Atlantis across the water, or Ain Dubai at Bluewaters.
  • Day 6: a slow breakfast, shopping, and the flight home.

The seven-day Dubai Abu Dhabi Luxury Honeymoon at ₹1,18,599 adds Abu Dhabi: the Grand Mosque in the morning light and two nights at a Saadiyat beach resort, which is the quietest beach in the country.

Where to stay: the three choices

AreaWhyCost per night, in season
DowntownThe Burj Khalifa and the fountain from the window; walk to the mall; the first two nights₹10,000 to ₹25,000 for a four- to five-star
Jumeirah beachThe Burj Al Arab view, the sunset, the quieter beach; the last nights₹15,000 to ₹40,000
The PalmPrivate beach, the resort pools, Atlantis across the water; the photograph honeymoon₹18,000 to ₹50,000
The Marina and JBRThe towers lit at night, the walk, the restaurants; a lively alternative to the beach resorts₹9,000 to ₹20,000

Split the stay. Two or three nights Downtown for the city, three on the coast for the resort, and the trip has two moods instead of one. Every honeymoon plan on the Dubai tour packages page is written that way, and the planner switches the hotels for the ones you have in mind.

The evenings worth planning around

  1. The fountain from a terrace. Book a table at Souk al Bahar or the Dubai Mall waterfront for 7 pm; the show plays every 30 minutes and the second one is with dessert.
  2. The Burj Khalifa at sunset. The AED 240 slot; book it three weeks ahead. Go up 45 minutes before sunset and stay for the lights.
  3. Dinner on the dunes. A private desert dinner, a table on the sand after the dune drive, instead of the shared camp. About ₹15,000 for two above the shared safari, and the one upgrade every couple says was worth it.
  4. The Marina dhow. A two-hour dinner cruise past the lit towers, AED 150 to 250 a head; the older creek dhows are cheaper and quieter.
  5. Ain Dubai. The observation wheel at Bluewaters after dark, a private cabin for two on request.
  6. A Palm sunset. The Pointe's terrace, Atlantis across the water, the fountain there at 7 pm, free.

Shopping₹15,000

Prices are September 2026, outside the December fortnight, which adds ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 to the flights and hotel. The seven-day Abu Dhabi luxury week is about ₹3.6 lakh for two all in. The line-by-line general version is in Dubai trip cost from India.

When to go

Late January to February and November are the honeymoon months: the beach is swimmable, the desert evening is cool, the resorts are below their December peak. December 20 to January 5 is the busiest and dearest fortnight, worth it only if New Year's Eve at the Burj Khalifa is the trip. May to September is 40°C; the resorts are half price and the pools are fine, but the beach at noon is not. Month by month is in the best time to visit Dubai.

Practical things couples ask

  • Dress. Swimwear at the beach and pool; shoulders and knees covered in malls, the old city and the mosque. Public affection is kept to holding hands.
  • Rooms. Hotels in the UAE no longer require a marriage certificate for a shared room; carry a copy anyway for the visa file, where some processors ask.
  • Honeymoon touches. Room decoration, cake and a late check-out are arranged on request; tell the planner the date of the wedding.
  • Visa. Both passports need a visa; apply together once the flight is booked, at least ten days before. The visa guide has the documents.
  • Photography. The Burj Khalifa deck, the Palm monorail, the Al Fahidi lanes and the Grand Mosque are the frames; a two-hour photographer is about AED 500 to 800 and is easily booked.

The three honeymoon plans, from ₹57,750 per person, are on the Dubai tour packages page. Tell the planner your dates, your city and the hotel style you like, and the quote comes back with the flights and the visa added.
