The package lines are our 5 Days Bangkok Pattaya Honeymoon Retreat at ₹27,250 and 5 Days Bangkok Pattaya Coral Island Bliss at ₹45,670, per person on twin sharing. Meals are counted for all five days, at street-food prices on the lower end and restaurant prices on the upper, although breakfasts and some lunches are in the package. The last line is our estimate for two temple tickets each, two tourist SIMs, a few Grab rides and ATM fees. Flights, food and that last line are typical ranges, not quotes.
Flights: about ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 return each
Flights are not part of our land packages and are quoted separately. The cheapest non-stop economy returns to Bangkok from Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Chennai average about ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 for most of the year, lowest from July to October and highest in the May holidays and over Christmas and New Year; Bengaluru to Phuket runs a few thousand more. Thai AirAsia suspended several India routes from April 2026 as jet fuel prices spiked, so there are fewer low-cost seats this year.
Non-stops to Bangkok leave daily: about 3 hours 45 minutes from Hyderabad, four hours from Bengaluru and 3 hours 30 to 40 minutes from Chennai. Trips that join Bangkok to Phuket or Krabi also need a domestic flight of about 90 minutes, which is not in the package price.
Visa and arrival card: ₹0 for up to 30 days
As of September 2026, Thailand lets Indian tourists landing from 15 September stay up to 30 days without a visa. The only paperwork is the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card, filled in at tdac.immigration.go.th in the three days before you land. Official notices differ on how much money immigration may ask to see, 10,000 or 20,000 baht per adult, so carry about 20,000 baht each (about ₹58,000) in cash or cards. For more than 30 days, get a tourist e-visa before you fly (₹3,000 for a single entry at the Royal Thai Embassy New Delhi's rates) or ask Thai immigration for an extension, which is at the officer's discretion. Hotels: ₹2,000 to ₹25,000 a night
These are typical September 2026 rates if you book rooms yourself, not quotes; on our packages the hotels are already in the price.
- Budget: ₹2,000 to ₹4,500 for a clean 2 or 3-star room in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket town or Ao Nang.
- Mid-range: ₹4,500 to ₹9,000 for a 4-star hotel or beach resort outside the peak weeks.
- Luxury: ₹12,000 to ₹25,000 and up for 5-star hotels and beach resorts, highest in Phuket and Krabi in December and January.
- Rates marked "++" add a service charge, usually 10%, plus VAT, currently 7%.

Prices are per person on twin sharing, without flights, from our published catalogue in September 2026. They cover the hotel nights (with breakfast listed on all but the Full Moon trip), the transfers in the day plan and the named day trips: Coral Island, the Chao Phraya dinner cruise and Safari World on most routes through Pattaya or Bangkok, the Phi Phi islands by speedboat with lunch on every Phuket route in this table, and on the Full Moon trip the ferries, both island fees and the party entry.
They do not cover international flights, flights inside Thailand, travel insurance (compulsory on the Full Moon trip), meals not named in the day plan, tips, personal spending, or the island, park and viewpoint fees some trips list as paid there.
Food, getting around and tickets
A street-food dish costs roughly 40 to 80 baht (₹115 to ₹230) and a full day of street eating about 300 to 400 baht, ₹900 to ₹1,200. With sit-down Indian or tourist restaurants in the mix, plan on ₹2,000 to ₹3,500 a day per person. In Bangkok the BTS Skytrain is roughly 17 to 65 baht a ride, metered taxis start at 35 baht (plus about 50 baht from the airport rank, and tolls), and Grab is about 80 to 200 baht for short trips. Agree tuk-tuk fares before you get in.
- Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew: 500 baht, about ₹1,450, tickets sold 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
- Wat Pho, the Reclining Buddha: 300 baht, about ₹870; children under 120 cm free.
- Wat Arun: about 200 baht, ₹580.
- Phi Phi islands national park fee: published figures differ between 200 and 400 baht per foreign adult, so carry cash.
- Full Moon Party entry at Haad Rin: about 200 baht, included on our Full Moon trip.
Costs people forget, and how to spend less
- ATM fees: about 250 baht (₹725) a withdrawal on foreign cards, more on some, plus your own bank's charge.
- UPI: India was not on the list for Thailand's cross-border QR payments in mid-2026, so do not count on it; carry a forex card and cash.
- A tourist SIM: from about 299 baht for 8 days at the airport counters, with your passport.
- Travel insurance: not in any of our packages.
- Fly between July and October, when fares are lowest, and choose Bangkok and Pattaya then; Phuket and Krabi are at their wettest in September and October.
- Book the May holidays and Christmas to New Year early, or avoid them.
- Eat one meal a day at street stalls.
- Draw cash in two large withdrawals, not six small ones.
