Malaysia trip cost from Bengaluru
Malaysia packages from Bengaluru start at ₹14,680 per person: ₹14,680 for 4 days, ₹25,683 for 6 days and ₹54,600 for 7 days. That is a land package: the hotels, airport transfers, the sightseeing and activities listed on each trip page, and a planner on WhatsApp through the trip. Flights from Bengaluru are not included; they are quoted separately so you pick the airline and dates. Visa and entry fees are paid separately unless the trip page lists them, and the planner helps with the paperwork.
Malaysia is one of the easiest foreign holidays from South India: visa-free for Indians until 31 December 2026 (as of September 2026), four to four and a half hours non-stop from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, with a large Tamil community that makes vegetarian and South Indian food easy to find, and a city with a cool hill resort an hour's drive away and an island an hour's flight away. The price moves with the hotel category, the month and the group size, so share those three and you get an exact quote rather than a starting figure.
Malaysia for honeymoons, families and friends
Couples: 2 honeymoon plans, with the honeymoon touches each trip page lists, from ₹60,102: 7 Days Singapore Malaysia Honeymoon Retreat (7D/6N, from ₹60,102); 7 Days Singapore Kuala Lumpur Sunway Honeymoon (7D/6N, from ₹81,352).
Families: 5 family plans, from ₹25,683: 6 Days Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Langkawi Escape (6D/5N, from ₹25,683); 6 Days Singapore Malaysia Escape (6D/5N, from ₹50,499); 7 Days Singapore Kuala Lumpur Genting Escape (7D/6N, from ₹54,600).
Friends and solo travellers take the standard plans and split rooms; every trip here is planned around your dates and group, and where a tour or day trip runs on a shared basis, the trip page says so.
Singapore and Malaysia packages
Kuala Lumpur is about an hour's flight from Singapore, or usually five to six hours by road including the border crossing, so a week splits into Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay and Universal Studios on one side and Kuala Lumpur with a Genting and Batu Caves day on the other. Indian passport holders need a separate Singapore visa, usually applied for through an authorised visa agent, so leave time for it.

Kuala Lumpur and Genting Highlands packages
Genting Highlands sits at about 1,800 metres, roughly an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. The Awana SkyWay cable car rides about ten minutes from Sky Sentral, beside the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, over the rainforest to the hilltop resort and the SkyWorlds theme park, with a free stop at the Chin Swee Caves Temple. Most plans stop at Batu Caves and its 272 steps on the way.
6 trips on this page, from ₹14,680 per person: 4 Days Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Getaway (4D/3N, from ₹14,680); 6 Days Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Langkawi Escape (6D/5N, from ₹25,683); 7 Days Singapore Kuala Lumpur Genting Escape (7D/6N, from ₹54,600); 9 Days Singapore Langkawi Kuala Lumpur Escape (9D/8N, from ₹72,340).
Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi packages
Langkawi is a one-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur and a duty-free archipelago of 99 islands: the SkyCab and Sky Bridge over the rainforest, the mangroves of Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, a speedboat island-hopping day and the sunsets on Pantai Cenang.

Malaysia from Bengaluru: visa, flights and the best time
Visa: Indian passport holders can currently visit Malaysia without a visa for up to 30 days for tourism, business or social visits; the waiver runs until 31 December 2026 (as of September 2026), so check the rule again if you travel after that. Submit the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within the three days before you land. Carry a passport valid for at least six months, a confirmed return ticket and a confirmed hotel booking, because immigration can ask to see them.
Flights: Non-stop Bengaluru to Kuala Lumpur flights take about 4 hours 15 minutes, with about three departures a day across AirAsia, Batik Air, IndiGo and Malaysia Airlines. IndiGo lists a Bengaluru to Langkawi non-stop of about 3 hours 50 minutes, not operating as of September 2026 and scheduled to start in October, about three times a week, so check before you plan around it. Otherwise Langkawi is a one-hour hop from Kuala Lumpur.
Best time: December to February is the driest stretch for Langkawi and the best time to pair the city with the island; Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year are the busiest and dearest weeks. Kuala Lumpur is hot and humid all year; its wettest months are March to April and October to December, with November the wettest, and the rain usually comes as short afternoon storms. Langkawi is wettest from August to October, when island-hopping boats can be called off, while Genting Highlands stays cool, about 12 to 22°C, in every month.
Money: Malaysian ringgit (MYR, written RM). Cards work in hotels, malls and most restaurants; carry cash for hawker stalls, night markets and small shops. India's NPCI International and Malaysia's PayNet signed an agreement in February 2026 to let Indian UPI apps pay at DuitNow QR codes, but no start date was announced and we could not confirm it is working as of September 2026, so do not count on UPI; take a forex card and some cash.
