Singapore tour packages from Chennai

Chennai has more non-stop choice than Hyderabad or Bengaluru: five or six non-stop flights a day to Singapore on IndiGo and Singapore Airlines, plus Scoot on some days, taking about four and a half hours.

Flights from Chennai leave from Chennai International Airport (MAA) at Meenambakkam. They are not part of the package price: the planner quotes them separately on request, so you choose the airline, the timing and the fare, and the trip starts from the airport transfer when you land.

With a non-stop of about 4 hours 30 minutes, a Chennai traveller loses only part of the first and the last day, so the 4- and 5-day plans are enough for a first visit; the longer ones add a second base or slower days.

Singapore is an easy first international holiday for Indian families: about four and a half to five hours non-stop from Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai, safe and very clean, Indian and vegetarian food easy to find, and Universal Studios, the Night Safari and Gardens by the Bay all within about half an hour's drive of each other outside rush hour. Money: Singapore dollar (SGD, written S$). Cards and contactless payments work almost everywhere, and a Visa or Mastercard can be tapped straight on the MRT gates and bus readers (S$0.60 extra for each day you use it); keep a little cash for older hawker stalls. UPI is accepted only in a few places so far (the Resorts World Sentosa website added it in September 2026), so carry a forex card or an international debit or credit card.
