A Singapore trip from India costs about ₹1.3 lakh to ₹2.1 lakh for two people for four to five days in 2026, once the land package, return flights, visas, food, the metro and the big tickets are all counted. That is roughly ₹66,000 to ₹1,04,000 per person. Every line below is at September 2026 prices, and each one says whether it is our package price or a market range that moves with the season.

The four-day column uses our 4 Days Singapore Quick Getaway at ₹32,499 per person, which already includes the Universal Studios and Night Safari tickets. The five-day column uses the 5 Days Singapore Sentosa Getaway at ₹38,922 per person, which covers the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, Floral Fantasy at Gardens by the Bay and a Sentosa day by cable car instead, so those two tickets are added for two adults. Both are per person on twin sharing, flights not included. Every other line is a typical market range, not a quote, and transport assumes a few metro rides a day. Travel insurance and shopping are not counted, and the four-day trip page lists taxes on the package cost as extra, so ask for that line in your quote. From Chennai, take about ₹8,000 to ₹9,000 off the flights.
Flights: ₹18,500 to ₹35,000 return per person
Typical economy return fares over the past 12 months, from KAYAK's route data checked on 14 September 2026, were ₹23,000 to ₹35,000 from Hyderabad and from Bengaluru, and ₹18,500 to ₹31,000 from Chennai. February and March are usually the cheapest months to fly; May to August and December, the Indian school holidays and the year-end, are the dearest.
All three cities have non-stop flights on Singapore Airlines and IndiGo: about five hours from Hyderabad, four and a half to five from Bengaluru and about four and a half from Chennai, which has the most non-stop flights of the three. Our packages are land packages, so the flight is always a separate line, quoted on request. Options by city are on the Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai pages.
Visa: S$30 plus the agent's fee
Indian passport holders need a visa before they fly, applied for through a Singapore-authorised visa agent and issued as an e-visa, usually in three to five working days. The official fee is S$30 (₹2,100 at the New Delhi and Mumbai missions), plus the agent's service fee of ₹1,300 there or ₹1,000 through the Chennai consulate's agents, who cover Hyderabad and Bengaluru; some agents add administrative charges, so ask for the total. Nothing is refunded if the visa is refused. The visa is not part of any package price, though we help with the paperwork, and the SG Arrival Card is free. Hotels: from ₹6,000 to ₹45,000 a night
The hotel is the biggest single cost, and Singapore generally costs more per day than Bangkok, Bali or Kuala Lumpur. Rough nightly prices for a double, built around KAYAK's averages in September 2026:
- Budget: a small private double in Little India, Bugis, Chinatown or Geylang usually starts around ₹6,000 to ₹10,000; KAYAK's recent Little India average was about ₹7,500. Hostel and capsule beds cost less.
- Four-star: about ₹13,000 to ₹20,000. March is usually the cheapest month for hotels and June the dearest.
- Five-star: about ₹28,000 to ₹45,000, with Marina Bay Sands and the top Sentosa resorts often higher, and Marina Bay rates up again on the Formula One weekend, 9 to 11 October 2026.
Four nights in a four-star room booked on your own come to ₹52,000 to ₹80,000 before a single transfer or ticket. For comparison, the five-day Sentosa Getaway for two is ₹77,844 with a deluxe-category hotel, breakfast, private airport transfers, a half-day city tour and the SkyPark, cable car and Floral Fantasy tickets included.

The four-day trip covers three nights in a deluxe-category hotel with breakfast, private airport and sightseeing transfers, a city tour, the Night Safari and a one-day Universal Studios ticket. The six-day Sentosa Universal Bliss adds Bird Paradise, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark deck, the cable car and the Singapore Oceanarium. The six-day Cruise Getaway spends three of its five nights on the ship with meals on board; a cruise leaves Singapore and comes back in, so your visa must allow a second entry. None of them include international flights, visa fees, travel insurance or meals beyond those listed, which on most trips means lunch and dinner. Tickets: the big ones and the free ones
At about ₹75 to one Singapore dollar in September 2026, these are the tickets most Indian families look at:
- Universal Studios Singapore: S$76 adult and S$69 child (4 to 12) on non-peak dates, more on peak dates; from about ₹5,700.
- Night Safari: S$58 adult and S$41 child (3 to 12), tram and GST included; about ₹4,350.
- Gardens by the Bay, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest: S$46 adult and S$32 child; about ₹3,450.
- Singapore Oceanarium on Sentosa: from S$55 adult and S$43 child; about ₹4,150.
- Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity: S$4 to enter Sentosa, children under 7 free; about ₹300. Walking in is free.
The free list is long: the Supertree Grove and its Garden Rhapsody light show at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm, the Marina Bay waterfront, the lanes of Little India and Chinatown, and Haji Lane's street art in Kampong Gelam.
Food and getting around: ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 a head a day
Eating at hawker centres and Little India's vegetarian restaurants costs about ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 per person a day, with a hawker plate usually around S$4.50 to S$7 (roughly ₹340 to ₹525). One sit-down restaurant meal a day lifts that to ₹4,000 to ₹6,000 per person. Many restaurants add a 10% service charge and 9% GST to menu prices marked "++"; tipping is not expected.
Adult card fares on the MRT and basic buses run from S$1.28 to about S$2.57 a ride. An Indian Visa or Mastercard can be tapped straight at the gates and bus readers, with a S$0.60 foreign card fee for each day you use it. UPI is accepted only in a few places so far, so carry a forex or international card and a little cash for older hawker stalls.
How to bring the number down
- Fly in February or March, when fares from South India are usually lowest, and avoid May to August, December and the Formula One weekend.
- If you want both Universal Studios and the Night Safari, compare against the four-day package that already includes them.
- Stay in Little India, Bugis or Chinatown rather than on Marina Bay, and take the MRT to the bay.
- Eat at hawker centres and keep the "++" restaurants for one dinner.
- Claim the GST refund: tourists aged 16 and over get GST back on purchases of S$100 or more from shops in the eTRS scheme, at the Changi kiosks when they fly out with the goods, less a handling fee.
