1Day 1 - Trip begins at Guwahati - Arrive Guwahati, transfer to Kaziranga

- Drive out to Kaziranga National Park country
- Rest of the day free to relax

2Day 2 - Kaziranga safari, tea gardens and Bihu evening
- Morning jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park spotting one-horned rhinos, elephants, deer and migratory birds
- Visit Orchid Park with its 600-plus orchid species, bamboo and herb gardens, cactus house and craft museum
- Walk through the surrounding tea gardens
- Evening Bihu folk dance performance; all meals; overnight Kaziranga
3Day 3 - Kaziranga to Shillong via the giant Shivling
- Drive from Kaziranga to Shillong, capital of Meghalaya
- En route stop at Maha Mrityunjai Temple, home to a roughly 126 ft Shivling billed as the world's tallest
- Photo stop at Umiam Lake
- All meals; check in for a 3-night stay in Shillong
4Day 4 - Day out to Mawlynnong and Dawki
- Visit Mawlynnong, awarded Asia's cleanest village: Balancing Rock and a centuries-old living root bridge
- Boating on the crystal-clear Dawki (Umngot) river and view of the 1932 British-built suspension bridge
- Stop at the India-Bangladesh border at Tamabil
- Free evening back in Shillong; all meals included
5Day 5 - Shillong sights and Cherrapunjee excursion
- Morning visits to Cathedral of Mary (if open), Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission
- Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), among the wettest places on earth
- See Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls and the Nohkalikai Falls viewpoint, India's tallest plunge waterfall
- Evening free for local-market shopping; all meals; overnight Shillong
6Day 6 - Brahmaputra ropeway and river cruise at Guwahati
- Drive down from Shillong to Guwahati
- Ride the longest river ropeway across the Brahmaputra with views of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island and the hills
- Evening cruise on the Brahmaputra river
- All meals; overnight Guwahati (1 night)
7Day 7 - Trip ends at Meghalaya - Kamakhya Temple and departure
- Mukh Darshan at Kamakhya Temple, one of India's 51 Shakti Peethas
- Taste of local jhalmuri with evening tea before airport transfer
- Breakfast included; fly back and the tour ends
