1Day 1 - Trip begins at Guwahati - Guwahati arrival, Agnigarh, on to Kaziranga
- Fly into Guwahati and meet the on-ground team
- Drive toward Kaziranga with an en route stop at Agnigarh hill, the mythological fortress where Banasura kept his daughter Usha in isolation
- Free time to relax on arrival
- Dinner and overnight at Kaziranga (2 nights)
2Day 2 - Kaziranga safari day with a Bihu evening
- Jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park among one-horned rhinos, elephants, deer and migratory birds
- Orchid Park visit: 600-plus northeast orchid species, bamboo and herb gardens, cactus house, crafts museum
- Stroll through the tea gardens
- Evening Bihu folk dance show; all meals; overnight Kaziranga
3Day 3 - Climb into Arunachal: Kaziranga to Bomdila
- Full-day scenic drive from Kaziranga up to Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh
- Free time to rest on arrival
- All meals; overnight Bomdila (1 night)
4Day 4 - Over Sela Pass to Tawang
- Drive from Bomdila to Tawang across Sela Pass and past Sela Lake, with eastern Himalayan panoramas
- Halt at the Jaswant Garh war memorial honouring Jaswant Singh Rawat of the 1962 Indo-China war
- Note: Tawang's high altitude may not suit guests with certain health conditions; a doctor's advice is suggested
- All meals; overnight Tawang (2 nights)
5Day 5 - Bum La border, high lakes and Tawang War Memorial
- Early run to Bum La Pass on the Indo-China border at about 15,200 ft (subject to army permission and road conditions; not open to foreigners or NRIs)
- Visit Peng Teng Tso Lake and Shungatser (Madhuri) Lake, made famous by the film Koyla
- Evening at the Tawang War Memorial with its sound and light show
- All meals plus hot noodles at the pass and momos at the hotel; overnight Tawang
6Day 6 - Tawang Monastery, Nuranang Falls, Sela Tunnel to Dirang
- Morning at Tawang Monastery, Asia's second largest
- Drive toward Dirang stopping at Nuranang waterfall at Jang
- Pass through the Sela Tunnel, the world's longest bi-lane tunnel above 13,000 ft
- All meals; overnight Dirang (1 night)
7Day 7 - Dirang Monastery, descend to Tezpur
- Visit Thupsung Dhargye Ling (Dirang) Monastery with Tibetan architecture and valley views
- Drive down to Tezpur on the Brahmaputra
- En route see the Nag Temple to the snake god and a photo stop at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue
- Visit the hilltop Mahabhairab Temple on arrival; all meals; overnight Tezpur (1 night)
8Day 8 - Tezpur to Shillong past Umiam Lake
- Travel day from Tezpur to Shillong, capital of Meghalaya
- Viewpoint stop at Umiam Lake
- All meals; check in for 3 nights in Shillong
9Day 9 - Mawlynnong and Dawki day trip
- Explore Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village: Balancing Rock and the centuries-old living root bridge
- Boat ride on the clear Dawki (Umngot) river beneath the 1932 suspension bridge
- Stop at the Tamabil India-Bangladesh border
- Free evening; all meals; overnight Shillong
10Day 10 - Shillong sights and Cherrapunjee
- Cathedral of Mary (if open), Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission
- Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest spots on earth
- Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls and the Nohkalikai Falls viewpoint
- Evening market shopping time; all meals; overnight Shillong
11Day 11 - Guwahati ropeway, cruise and seniors' carnival night
- Drive to Guwahati via Maha Mrityunjai Temple with its roughly 126 ft Shivling
- Brahmaputra river ropeway ride overlooking Umananda Temple and Peacock Island, then an evening river cruise
- Special celebration night for the senior guests: ramp walk in favourite attire, music, dancing, mocktails and a festive dinner
- All meals; overnight Guwahati (1 night)
12Day 12 - Trip ends at Meghalaya - Kamakhya Temple and farewell
- Mukh Darshan at Kamakhya Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas
- Airport transfer for the flight home; breakfast included; tour ends
