1Day 1 - Trip begins at Delhi - Delhi to Shimla by overnight coach
- Report at the boarding point in Delhi.
- Board an air conditioned coach for the overnight journey to Shimla.
2Day 2 - Shimla to Rakcham
- Arrive in Shimla in the morning and freshen up.
- Drive out past Kufri and Narkanda on the national highway.
- Short stop at the Kinnaur Caves.
- Follow the Sutlej to Karcham, then turn towards Rakcham along the Baspa river.
- Check in at Rakcham, dinner and overnight stay.
3Day 3 - Holi at Rakcham, then transfer to Kalpa
- Holi celebration with colours and sweets after breakfast.
- Outdoor picnic lunch.
- Drive back to Karcham and on to Powari.
- Turn towards Reckong Peo and continue to Kalpa.
- Views of the Kinner Kailash range from the village.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a homestay in Kalpa.
4Day 4 - Kalpa to Kaza
- Early breakfast and departure.
- Take the Indo Tibet highway and cross Khab Bridge where the Spiti and Satluj rivers meet.
- Drive the hairpin bends known as the Ka loops.
- Outdoor noodle cookout stop on the way.
- Visit Tabo Monastery.
- Reach Kaza, tea and conversation with resident monks.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a homestay in Kaza.
5Day 5 - Kaza sightseeing and transfer to Chicham
- Visit Langza village, the Lang temple and the fossil beds nearby.
- Visit the high altitude post office at Hikkim and send a postcard.
- Visit Komik village with a picnic and noodle cookout.
- Visit Key Monastery.
- Visit Chicham Bridge over the gorge.
- Butter tea session with a local family at Chicham.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a homestay in Chicham.
6Day 6 - Chicham to Nako
- Retrace the road towards Nako.
- Detour before Sumdo to Gue village to see the preserved monk, subject to the road being open.
- Reach Nako and visit Nako Lake and Nako Monastery, which has an old prayer wheel.
- Optional trek to Manne village.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Nako.
7Day 7 - Nako to Shimla and overnight coach to Delhi
- Drive back along the Spiti river and through the Kinnaur valley.
- Continue on the national highway beside the Sutlej through deodar forest.
- Transfer directly to the Shimla bus stand.
- Board the overnight coach to Delhi.
8Day 8 - Trip ends at Delhi - Arrive in Delhi
- Reach Delhi in the morning.
- Tour ends.
