- Meet the trip captain at the Delhi boarding point.
- AC semi-sleeper Volvo for the overnight run to Manali.
2Day 2 · Manali to Jispa through the Atal TunnelMeals: Breakfast, dinner · Jispa hotel or camp
- Reach Manali early, freshen up and breakfast.
- Atal Tunnel, then Sissu and Keylong along the Bhaga river through Lahaul.
- Reach Jispa by evening. Dinner and overnight.
3Day 3 · Jispa to Padum over Shinku LaMeals: Breakfast, dinner · Padum
- Early breakfast and the climb to Shinku La, the pass into Zanskar.
- Gorges and empty valleys all the way to Padum, the valley's main town.
- Check in, dinner and overnight in Padum.
4Day 4 · Padum: Karsha, Sani, Pensi La and Drang DrungMeals: Breakfast, dinner · Padum
- Karsha Monastery, the largest in Zanskar, then Sani lake and monastery and a walk through Padum market.
- Drive over Pensi La to the Drang Drung glacier viewpoint.
- Back to Padum for dinner and the night.
5Day 5 · Phugtal Monastery and camp at Gonbo RangjonMeals: Breakfast, dinner · Camp at Gonbo Rangjon
- Drive to the last motorable point and hike to the Phugtal Monastery viewpoint.
- Continue to Gonbo Rangjon, the lone rock mountain sacred to the valley.
- Sunset, dinner and a night in tents under the stars.
6Day 6 · Back over Baralacha La to Manali, bus to DelhiMeals: Breakfast · Overnight bus
- Early breakfast and the return over Baralacha La with stops at Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal.
- Lahaul valley down to Manali by evening, some free time in town.
- Board the overnight Volvo to Delhi.
7Day 7 · Arrive Delhi
- Reach Delhi in the morning. Book onward travel after noon.
