Yes, ₹1 lakh is enough for one person to do Dubai well for five days in 2026, and it is not enough for a couple. That is the short answer. That is a real Dubai trip: the Burj Khalifa, the desert safari, the fountain show, old Dubai on the creek, Jumeirah beach and the Marina, four nights in a decent three-star, and ₹3,000 left over. The twin-sharing price assumes you travel with a friend and split the room; a single traveller pays a single supplement of roughly ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 on the package, which pushes the total just over the lakh.
What ₹1 lakh does not cover
- The December 20 to January 5 fortnight. The flight alone is ₹40,000 then and the hotel doubles; a one-lakh trip becomes ₹1.4 lakh with the same itinerary.
- A second big ticket. Aquaventure (about ₹8,300), the Museum of the Future (about ₹4,000) or Ferrari World (about ₹9,000 plus the Abu Dhabi day) each need a trade: skip one, or drop the Marina dinner and the shopping line.
- A Downtown or beach hotel. The lakh assumes Deira or Bur Dubai; the four-star Downtown version of the same trip is the 5 Days Dubai Family Getaway at ₹45,000 land, and the total is ₹1.07 lakh.
- Abu Dhabi. The Grand Mosque day trip is affordable, but with the Louvre or Ferrari World it is a ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 day.
A couple: ₹1.7 to ₹1.9 lakh
Two people do not cost twice as much as one, because the room is shared and the car is the same car, but the flights and visas are per head. A couple on the same five-day plan spends about ₹1,75,000: two flights at ₹24,000, two visas at ₹8,000, the package at ₹35,500 each, and the meals, tickets and spending roughly doubled. A family of four: ₹3 to ₹3.5 lakh
Two adults and two children under 12 on the five-day family plan spend about ₹3 lakh: four flights, four visas, the family package at ₹45,000 per adult and a lower child rate, one family room, and the children's tickets at child prices for the Burj Khalifa and the desert. How to keep a one-lakh trip at one lakh
- Book the flight first and the visa second. The flight is the only line that can double; everything else is stable.
- Go in November, late January to February, or May to September. The summer trip is 40°C outside and half the price, and everything on a five-day plan except the beach is indoors or at night.
- Choose the Burj Khalifa over the Museum of the Future if you are choosing one; choose the desert safari over Aquaventure unless you are travelling with children.
- Eat in Karama. A South Indian thali there is AED 15, about ₹400.
- Use the metro from the airport and to Downtown; keep taxis for after 10 pm.
- Carry a forex card loaded in dirhams rather than swiping an Indian credit card, which adds 3 to 4 percent.
Is ₹50,000 enough for Dubai?
Not for a trip from India that includes the flight; the flight and visa are ₹30,000 before you have a bed. ₹50,000 is enough for the on-the-ground part of a five-day trip if the flight is already paid for, for example on airline miles, or for a three-day stopover on the way somewhere else.
Is ₹2 lakh enough for Dubai?
For one person, ₹2 lakh is a seven-day trip in a four-star with Abu Dhabi, every big ticket and no trade-offs, in any month except the December fortnight. For a couple it is the comfortable five-day trip above with room to spare, or the honeymoon plan with a beach hotel.
