1Day 1 - Trip begins at Gangtok - Arrive and drive to Gangtok via Kalimpong
- Your private cab meets you at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for the drive up to Gangtok
- Break the journey at Kalimpong, where you can add Teesta river rafting at your own expense
- Check in to your Gangtok hotel and settle in for the night
2Day 2 - Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir day trip
- Drive up to Tsomgo Lake, also called Changu Lake, ringed by high peaks, with yak rides by the shore
- Visit Baba Mandir and hear the story behind this soldiers' shrine
- Nathula Pass on the India-China border can be added at extra cost, subject to permits
- Return to your Gangtok hotel for the night
3Day 3 - Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling
- Check out after breakfast and drive to Darjeeling past tea gardens and snow peaks
- Check in and take the rest of the day easy
- The toy train, Mall Road, the Rangit Valley ropeway and Nightingale Park are easy outings on your own
- Overnight in Darjeeling
4Day 4 - Darjeeling sightseeing with a Tiger Hill sunrise
- Early start for sunrise over Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill
- Stop at Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery with its 15 ft Maitreya Buddha
- Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Darjeeling zoo, the Tibetan Refugee Centre and the Peace Pagoda
- Back to your hotel for the night
5Day 5 - Trip ends at Bagdogra - Departure
- Check out after breakfast
- Your private cab drops you at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for the journey home
