1Day 1 - Trip begins at Siliguri - Arrive near Siliguri and drive to Gangtok
- Your private cab meets you at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for the drive up to Gangtok
- Check in and take the day easy together
- Phodong or Tashiding monasteries and an evening stroll through Lal Bazaar are lovely options on your own
- Overnight in Gangtok
2Day 2 - Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and the Nathula road
- Drive up to Tsomgo Lake, the glacial lake that changes colour with the seasons
- Head along one of the world's highest motorable roads towards Nathula Pass on the India-China border, subject to permits
- Pay a visit to Baba Mandir, dedicated to soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh
- Return to your Gangtok hotel for the night
3Day 3 - Into North Sikkim: drive to Lachen
- Check out and drive deep into North Sikkim with your private cab
- Pass Chungthang town where the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers meet
- Settle into your Lachen hotel with dinner, and wander the quiet village lanes if you like
- Overnight in Lachen
4Day 4 - Gurudongmar Lake, then across to Lachung
- Early drive to Gurudongmar Lake at about 17,800 ft, one of the highest lakes in the world, its clear waters held sacred
- Stop at the 70 ft Bhim Nala waterfall on the way
- Continue to Lachung, check in with dinner at the hotel
- Overnight in Lachung
5Day 5 - Yumthang Valley, then back to Gangtok
- Morning visit to Yumthang, Sikkim's Valley of Flowers, past the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary
- Drive back down to Gangtok and check in
- Free evening to explore the city together at your own pace
- Overnight in Gangtok
6Day 6 - Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling
- Check out after breakfast and drive to Darjeeling
- Check in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon
- Nightingale Park, St Andrew's Church, Mahakal Mandir and the walk up Observatory Hill are easy outings on your own
- Overnight in Darjeeling
7Day 7 - Darjeeling sightseeing with a Tiger Hill sunrise
- Early start for sunrise over Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill
- Visit the Peace Pagoda, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery
- Continue to the Tibetan Refugee Centre, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the zoological park with its red pandas
- Back to your hotel for the night
8Day 8 - Trip ends at Bagdogra - Departure
- Check out after breakfast
- Your private cab drops you at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for the journey home
