1Day 1 - Trip begins at Siliguri - Arrive in Siliguri, drive to Pelling
- Your private cab picks you up at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for the long, pretty drive up to Pelling in West Sikkim.
- Check in and unwind; the rest of the day is yours.
- If you have energy, try the glass-floored Pelling Skywalk, walk the lofty Singshore suspension bridge, or browse the little local market.
2Day 2 - Pelling sightseeing day
- Start at the sacred, wish-granting Khecheopalri Lake and the quiet monastery beside it.
- Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest, and the Rabdentse Ruins, remnants of the old royal capital.
- Cool off at the Rimbi and Kanchenjunga waterfalls tucked into the green hillsides.
3Day 3 - Drive to Gangtok via Ravangla's Buddha Park
- Check out and drive across the hills toward Gangtok, with Kanchenjunga peeking through along the way.
- Stop at Buddha Park in Ravangla, where a 130 ft Shakyamuni Buddha rises over landscaped gardens and big mountain views.
- Reach Gangtok by evening, check in and relax.
4Day 4 - Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir excursion
- Full-day outing into the high country of East Sikkim, pausing at the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary for waterfalls and wildflowers.
- Take in glacial Tsomgo Lake at about 12,400 ft, famous for waters that change colour with the seasons.
- Pay respects at Baba Mandir, the shrine to soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh; optional yak rides and ropeway at the lake.
- Nathula Pass can be added at extra cost if permits are available (Wednesday to Sunday only).
5Day 5 - Into North Sikkim: drive to Lachen
- Set off north on winding mountain roads to the village of Lachen.
- Pause at Chungthang, where the Lachen and Lachung rivers meet.
- Check in and take an easy stroll through the quiet village lanes; dinner at your stay is included.
6Day 6 - Gurudongmar Lake, then across to Lachung
- Early start for Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world at about 17,800 ft, stark and stunning.
- Drive across to Lachung, stopping at the thundering Bhim Nala waterfall on the way.
- Check in at Lachung and rest amid the peaks; all meals here are included.
7Day 7 - Yumthang Valley, then back to Gangtok
- Morning in Yumthang, the Valley of Flowers, with the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary and its 24 plus rhododendron species.
- Dip a toe at the mineral-rich Yumthang hot springs if you like.
- Drive back down to Gangtok for your final night; evening free for MG Marg and momos.
8Day 8 - Trip ends at Bagdogra - Departure
- After breakfast, check out and get driven back to Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for your journey home.
