Cycle through the countryside to Bich Dong Pagoda, arranged on a private basis.
Return to Hanoi for the night.

Check out and travel by road to the Halong Bay harbour.
Board an overnight cruise among the limestone karsts.
Stop at Ti Top Island and a pearl farm village, with kayaking and swimming on offer.

Which Indian city do I fly from?
Any of them. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City both have direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, and one-stop options from every other Indian city. International airfare is not part of this price, so you can book the routing that suits you and we will match the plan to your arrival time.
Is this a group departure or a private trip?
This is a private trip. Your own vehicle and driver, your own dates and only your own group. Nothing is shared with strangers and the day plan can be reshaped around you.
Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Vietnam?
Yes. Indian nationals need a Vietnam e-visa, applied for online before travelling, and it is usually granted within a few working days. You need a passport valid for at least six months and a recent photograph. The visa fee is not included in this price. We apply for your Vietnam e-visa for you, at least three weeks before you fly, and confirm the current rules for your dates.
What is the best time to make this trip?
March to April and October to November are the most reliable months, with clear air and comfortable temperatures. Winter in the north can be cold and misty, and the summer months bring heavier afternoon rain, though it rarely lasts a whole day.
What is the night on the bay like?
You sleep aboard a cruise boat in a private cabin with an attached bathroom, and meals are served on board. Kayaking and a cave visit are usually part of the sailing. In poor weather the port authority can suspend sailings, which is outside anyone's control, and we rearrange the night on shore if that happens.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Yes. Days can be added or dropped, cities swapped, stays upgraded and the pace slowed. Send an enquiry with your dates and group size and we will build the exact plan and price for you.
