1Day 1 · Trip begins at Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City and free time (Vietnam)
- Land at Ho Chi Minh City airport and transfer privately by sedan to the hotel.
- Check in and keep the day open.
- The riverfront, the colonial city hall and an old Hindu temple are all walkable.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
2Day 2 · Ho Chi Minh City sightseeing (Vietnam)
- Full day guided sightseeing across the city.
- Visit the Reunification Palace, once the seat of the southern government.
- Admire the ornate interior of the Saigon Central Post Office and the twin towers of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
- Trace the two wars through the exhibits at the War Remnants Museum and the hidden weapons cellar.
- Return to the hotel. Breakfast included.
3Day 3 · Cu Chi Tunnels (Vietnam)
- Morning excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels outside the city.
- Walk a stretch of the underground network with its trap doors, kitchens, workshops and field hospitals.
- Watch the short film on how the tunnels were dug and used.
- Back to the hotel for the night. Breakfast included.
4Day 4 · Free day in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)
- A whole day at your own pace.
- The Taoist pagoda, the history museum, the Chinese quarter temple and the observation tower are the usual choices.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Breakfast included.
5Day 5 · Cross into Cambodia and settle in Siem Reap (Vietnam to Cambodia)
- Check out and take a private sedan transfer to Ho Chi Minh City airport.
- Fly to Siem Reap. Note that this air ticket is not part of the package.
- Private sedan transfer from Siem Reap airport to the hotel and check in.
- Rest of the day free; the war museum, a silk farm and outlying temples are nearby.
- Overnight in Siem Reap. Breakfast included.
6Day 6 · Tonle Sap Lake (Cambodia)
- Drive out to Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in the region.
- Board a wooden boat to the floating settlement at Chong Kneas.
- See how the Khmer families there live on the water, between fishing and visitors.
- Return to Siem Reap for the night. Breakfast included.
7Day 7 · Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat (Cambodia)
- Full day at the Angkor complex.
- Begin at the Bayon and its many carved stone faces.
- Walk the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Leper King Terrace, and see the Baphuon.
- Visit Ta Prohm, where roots have grown through the ruins.
- Finish at Angkor Wat, its five towers and its long galleries of carved epic scenes.
- Return to the hotel. Breakfast included.
8Day 8 · Trip ends at Siem Reap - Departure (Cambodia)
- Breakfast and check out.
- Coach transfer to Siem Reap airport for the flight home.
