1Day 1 - Trip begins at Hanoi - Arrival in Hanoi
- Land at Hanoi international airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Evening free to settle in and wander the old streets.
- Overnight in Hanoi.
2Day 2 - Halong Bay overnight cruise
- Check out and travel by road to the Halong Bay harbour.
- Sail among the limestone karsts on an overnight cruise.
- Stop at Ti Top Island and a pearl farm village, with kayaking and swimming on offer.
- Onboard Vietnamese cooking session and overnight in a cabin.
3Day 3 - Return to Hanoi
- Morning tai chi on deck and a visit to a floating fishing village.
- Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi, then check in.
- Rest of the day free.
- Overnight in Hanoi.
4Day 4 - Hanoi sightseeing then fly to Da Nang
- Guided city tour taking in the One Pillar Pagoda, the lakeside Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Old Quarter and the red bridge.
- Transfer to the airport for the included domestic flight to Da Nang.
- Arrival transfer to the Da Nang hotel and check in for the night.
5Day 5 - Ba Na Hills excursion
- Transfer to the cable car station and ride up to the hill resort.
- Visit the hilltop pagoda with views over the sea.
- See the old wine cellar and the indoor amusement park.
- Walk the Golden Bridge before returning to the hotel.
- Overnight in Da Nang.
6Day 6 - Hoi An old town then fly to Ho Chi Minh City
- Check out and drive to Hoi An for a half day walking tour.
- See the Japanese covered bridge, the Fujian assembly hall and the Sa Huynh culture museum.
- Transfer to Da Nang airport for the included domestic flight south.
- Arrival transfer to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for the night.
7Day 7 - Cu Chi Tunnels and city tour
- Morning visit to the wartime tunnel network outside the city.
- City sightseeing at the Reunification Palace and the war museum.
- See the French era central post office.
- Lunch included on the city tour; overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
8Day 8 - Trip ends at Ho Chi Minh City - Departure
- Check out and transfer to the city airport for the flight home.
